What Israel needs, and has for a long time, is to figure out how to reach a lasting peace with the people around them whose land they usurped in the founding of their country. It’s not surprising that continued expansion of their territory via military aggression doesn’t get them closer to this goal. And it’s also clear that the United States providing them with huge sums of money and a never ending supply of weapons and materiel has only encouraged them to further expansion and belligerence instead of seeking a solution with their neighbors.
