Placement is top notch , but the thing is if you are placement oriented then you wont be survive for 5 years. But if you think you can then most welcome. But i am writing after 2 years so i guess u must be in some good college till now
I found your website biased towards BTech program only....you have not even posted the curriculums or FAQs for MTech program, no wonder why India is poor in research.

Yes, obviously. IIIT Hyderabad is equivalent to top 7 IITs. For IIIT H, JEE(main) cut is approx 250.

Nobody can compete with this college in terms of placements... Even it's placements are good than IIT Guwahati , IIT Roorkee and IIT BHU..
If u r thinking about placement, then don't join it. It's not for guys like u coz it"s totally research oriented
