During your first flight lesson you'll be introduced to the airport layout and the traffic pattern. Gold Seal makes these operations easy for you. www.GroundSchool.com
As mentioned at 3:05, the traffic pattern is typically 1,000 feet above the ground (AGL). Many airports are already above 1,000' Mean Sea Level (MSL). If you wanted to fly at 1,000' MSL in those locations, you'd have to fly underground... which we strongly discourage.
great video it explains allot but would you mind making a video explaining the procedures when coming in to land , meaning when on final approach keeping the airspeed at 60 knots and how to keep it there while squeezing power and taking it and to maintain that speed and I also have trouble keeping the aircraft straight by using the rudders while adding or decreasing power when coming in for a landing... Please this will help tremendously.
I wish I'd seen this when I was learning to fly. Absolutley wonderful graphics. Bravo.
Great video. The 3D really helps paint a good picture of everything.
Very good video. 👍
Excellent presentation. Keep up the good work. Very simple and understanding. Will start my OGS soon. Thank you.
Excellent. Hope to see you at GroundSchool.com. Don't miss the free test drive.
Just enrolled today! 😀👍🏽
Nice video ❤✈
@GoldSealFlight, would that be 1000 ft MSL OR 1000 ft AGL?
