This little home that the husband and wife lived in was so beautiful and a very sad ending. It made me cry. I am old and it made me wonder what things I will leave behind for my children. Thank you for taking us along with you. God Bless y'all and stay safe.🙏🙏❤❤
Hi Maureno, Yes - your roadtrips in France were really incredibly interesting and amazing, in terms of what you were finding all the time and apparently also a lot of fun for you all, the fabulous "gang of five". - Be safe and kindest regards. Lots of blessings!
I watch explore the world, explomo n Bros of decay... the three of the channels are my favorite ones about abandoned houses.. in Indonesia there's a very haunted building which was built in the era of Netherland's colonialism.. very very haunted... named Lawang Sewu in the province of Central Java, Semarang city, Indonesia... there's a room that is locked forever... perhaps so many treasures were saved there...Gold and money there.. perhaps.. because it's VOC's office... local people never open it.. hope someday you will come to see the haunted building of colonialism.. come in the night...
@@BrosOfDecay , Hi again, dear Lesley, You are very welcome, and it's always my pleasure, - and I am glad, you are so reasonable with regard to the safety aspect. - Wishing you also all the best. - Have you eventually not yet seen my comment to your latest video of Mr. Christian, the French truckdriver? - Stay safe and kindest regards.
I just love how you describe all the photos you come across. You respect and cherish them as if it were your own grandparents you were talking about. You are such a kind and gentle human being, if only there were more men like you in the world, well women too for that matter but it's not everyday you meet a man as caring and compassionate as you! 💜💜
Love these explorers as they never use defamatory language and take their time with the camera. Most of the places they go to are really interesting too.
EVERY video you makes me SO emotional!!! Everything about theses beautiful abandoned mansions & houses are SO AMAZING the History behind it is so beautiful & Makes So me Emotional i can feel the love that was in these families houses Simply Precious!!!!
Do you agree that the music is PERFECT! Great job Lesley !!!! What a cool place . Makes me kind of sad to see these places like this, but I love how respectful Lesley is to everything he touches and talks about. I also love that he makes a little story behind some objects in the house . Watching these videos are so soothing 💚
I love the time you take showing these homes, panning over everything. Unfortunately there are so many sad stories behind these abandoned homes. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed it, but made me sad.
This is definitely a unite adventure, Assistant Living Quarters. They are able to have their own place, within a home. Love it! Different life styles, personal affect and yet sad to see all their tricketts just sitting around. Their individual photos were the hardest for me to see, I hope they all lived a happy and beautiful life. Thank you.💕💕
Thanks for the beautiful video. At Christmas, I imagine a house full of guests. Amazing atmosphere. One day it will all end. One of the spouses probably died. The other had to go to a retirement home with only a suitcase of his belongings. Sadly, I see their things that they use every day.
I have just come across your videos and I am really enjoying them and the fact that you have managed to find some history of the people who lived there, makes them so much more interesting. Thank you so much.

As always Lesley I look forward to your new videos. How sad for the husband losing his wife and home. Such a small home they had to move into due to all the medical bills. Great full to his children for stepping up with assistance. Another great video. Thank you
It was more likely a assistant living home for the elderly. I’m kinda surprised that none of the children retrieved any of their families possessions. I really love the story behind it and as always such a great job. 👍🙌😊
I would not think so. Each room had a semblance of a kitchen and maybe a toilet room. I think it was simply a rooming house with no shared spaces except for maybe a bathroom, particularly on the top floor.
I always like hearing your commentary throughout, it's a journey into the past, one can imagine what the family was like by the way they kept their home, or if a person was going through a mourning period due to loss of a loved one, so many possibilities. it's also nice to see hardly anyone has gone through and disrespected the place, or trashed it. THUMBS UP!!
The larger place looks like it was a beautiful family home at some point. Surprised there wasn’t a stair lift. Loved the first kitchen and it’s ceiling. Great explore. Thanks for taking us with you. Be careful and stay healthy!
Thanks for sharing your videos, appreciate them to watch during this virus/quarantine. My cousin just died yesterday of the virus & complications. They only allow 10 people for the private funeral, so we don't get to go, & that is sad & hurts us. We call those clocks anniversary clocks with the glass domes, my parents had the same bird clock in their kitchen before they went to an assisted living home. Your videos are always so great.
We all get old, well, some of us do. He looked like he lived to his mid eighties in age, I'm guessing ? He was fortunate to have such a comfortable place in his final decades ( and that's quite a long time ). How much room does a solitary person need in the end ? Not very much. A few basic & practical possessions, hoping one's health holds out as best it can, and hopefully again, a little money here & there. I'm not quite there yet but each decade goes quicker as we age.
