    Great tips 👍
It can be used for units, thousands(K) millions(M) in same table. We used switch function which dramatically change the currency to text.

Hi Bas. Thank you very much. Where is the currency tale please? It would be very useful but can't see it included on the links below your wonderful video. Many thanks

this will not work on barchart under Column Value, rather it is going under Tooltips section due to Text as datatype, any suggestions on that?

Hi Bas, how are you doing? First of all, thank you for the rich content always. So, I have a situation at my work. I have a lot of KPI to show in a same report, and each measure has a different format type (currency, percentage, general...) I've built a measure using selectedvalue and format to dinamicaly change de format when I select the KPI in the slicer, but, due the fact that FORMAT changes the type to string, I can't use this measure in a chart. Could you help me finding a better solution to this situation, please? Thank you in advance!! :)

Can you show us how to set up for units? If amount > 1 billion, show it as "1.00B". >1 million then show "1.00M". and so on. Thanks

Great tutorial, thank you! I applied and its working great.
However, I have 2 visuals on a page. I have applied the currency to the one visual which needs to have a currency applied and the other visual uses a simple number field(no currency). But if I filter the second visual (no currency needed) using the first, then the second visual inherits the currency symbol...any ideas how to exclude? Thanks.

Great tips. How about creating different formatting like changing font color, etc at different level of total?

Literally just install it, if you have a recent version of Desktop. It will then appear in the External Tools menu.
