This is the only car from that Era that I personally would love to own, and of course it will have an M 22 4 speed, this is a great car!!!

Not true, there were 4 different transmissions available in 1970 for a Z28 Camaro they were Muncie M20 long throw, M21 short throw, M22 Short throw H.D. aka The Rock Crusher and for the first year you could get a 3 speed Automatic Tranny. Very few had the H.D. M22 Rock Crusher because it cost several hundred dollars more than any of the other manual transmissions.

I had a 70 Camaro my senior year in high school I promised myself I would have one before I graduated from high school and I did. I work like a dog at night after school to get it I was so proud. But I was stupid I traded it a few years later for a Saab

I had a 71 split bumper and the turn signals were in that location. I bely the 1970 were below the bumpers.

The round signal lights above the bumper was the RS option availabile from 1970-73 even in the 6cyl Camaro.

Why test drive a muscle car and not demonstrate the muscle

Stripes are wrong. The whole car is suspect.

this is the same KID who posted a video of him "test driving" a 4 SPEED HEMI ROAD RUNNER!! in the Hemi, this kid acted like the car was going to kill him at any moment so he drove it like he had a dozen eggs rolling around on the passenger floor. now this kid gets in a 70 Z/28 that had the LT-1 motor with a 4 speed (which was a very fast car) and drives THIS CAR like he has a serious heart condition. HEY FASTLANE REED - PLEASE go find an ADULT to drive these cars and make these videos!! guys interested in old muscle cars want to see some acceleration and hear the motor and exhaust. Clearly - these cars SCARE THE HELL out of you so next time you get in an "old muscle car" - give the keys to SOMEONE ELSE!

Thank you for your interest, I’ll be sure to beat these cars that I personally do not own as hard as I can from now on. I am genuinely terrified of 400 wheel horsepower…

@@fastlanereed3014 Mr. Reed, you don't have to "beat" on these cars when you test drive them, however, a couple of full throttle blasts would help you sell these cars. i street raced these cars when they were new. they were designed to go fast in a straight line. unless the builder/restorer put the car together with duct tape and junk Chinese parts, you are NOT going to break anything.

@@codyrob94 i actually used to "jump coke cans" in a drive-in burger joint in the late 60's, early 70's with my 68 Barracuda. on old mopars, if you lifted the front end by tightening up the torsion bars, you could jump a coke can with the left front wheel pretty easily! that is real "old school" gear-head entertainment.
