Good review! Not afraid to say the obvious and lackluster specs of this car.

Heated seats in a tropical country like ours 🤦‍♂️ I feel sad for chevrolet as I really like almost all their car designs, specially the cruze which I own in the past and TB as my father’s car, but cmon chevy level up your game.

1.6m? Damn. The HRV and cross hybrid will kill this.

Not just in the Philippines or SEA, but that's the new Trailblazer across the board, same as and along, with the new Blazer is now a crossover SUV.

The gaps in the trim panels and the gap between the A-pillar trim and the dashboard is just like our Mirage. It really bothers me (a lot). I feel like it's sagging just like the front bumpers of this vehicle. I even tried pushing up the dashboard but was afraid the plastics might break.

As a former Chevy vehicle owner, I have to say this about the new Trailblazer: overpriced and underspecced.
Sorry, but I'm just saying the truth :(

Always believed that anything from General Motors are garbage. This car is Case in Point.

I usually get excited for new updates of vehicles, the new Ford Everest is so damn macho, the upcoming CR-V looks very sharp and cool, the updated Nissan Terra looks like its classmates with the Toyota Prado and Nissan Patrol, the new MU-X looks high-class and mean at the same time, BUUUUUT this new Trailblazer is just....meh, and when combined with the 1.60M price tag pulls it down to the awful territory. It's basically an MG ZS except that the MG ZS is half the price and offers a lot more features, creature comforts, and practical utility.
For 1.60M, your money is better spent on the cheapest Isuzu MU-X, Geely Okavango, all-new top trim Honda BR-V, all-new Hyundai Tucson, top-trim Kia Seltos, and the new Chery Tiggo 8 Pro; or if you add just 100k more, you could buy your standard SUVs: Ford Everest, Nissan Terra, Honda CR-V, Toyota Fortuner, mid-tier Isuzu MU-X, etc.
Chevrolet is quite confusing as a car brand in a third-world country like ours right now, when you go to Chevrolet's online catalogues, it looks like it's mainly offering high-end luxury models like the Camaro for almost 4m, Corvette for 12.5m, Suburban for 9.6m, Tahoe for 7.8m; the only mass-friendly offerings they have are the measly Spark, Tracker and the disappointing Trailblazer. WHO EXACTLY ARE CHEVY'S MARKET IN THE PHILIPPINES right now during this current recession? Rich people aren't even thinking about shelling out 9m for a Chevy and would rather buy a sensible Landcruiser or your standard BMW and Mercedes, middle-class are too budget-savvy to buy this sad trailblazer offering and would rather have a lot more bang for their buck, poor people aren't even looking around in the car market.

I'm waiting for you to mention. The door locks are so 1970s!

Not familiar with the 70s door locks, which particular design of the door lock in this Chevy have that look? Thank you.

@@wonderboykun I'm trying to put a link here to show a sample photo, but youtube is removing my reply to you. Anyway, I'm talking about the door locks located on top of the plastic panel, right beside the door glass. That's what I mean when I say it's so 1970s. Most car door locks today is located near the door handle, where the driver can also control the locks on the other doors.

Overpriced. Quality is not so good. Either get a Coolray, Territory, or a Cross. And there are other better built and better equipped options out there.
If they bump the price way down then some might consider this.

Brazilian Made Trailblazer is way better looking than Thailand's and specially when you compare it to Korean one, which is a Crossover now.. Too bad for Chevrolet Philippines.

Had a chevy once, never again. The build quality and reliability is appalling, and judging by your video review nothing has changed. New body new shape, but fundamentally its still a chevy and therefore not reliable.

I heard that Chevy after sale support in Cebu is pathetic and thats why most Cebuanos dont even buy their product and just stay away from Chevy
