On the BPF ‘error’ - he did end up on the ground because he was obstructed. It was clear as day foul and I don’t think it is anything to do with keepers being ‘protected’. The 6 yard box is his domain if he’s not fouled. Personally, I feel if that was Allsopp, you would both be more than happy to ask how the ref has missed it but the hesitancy for BPF is just because he’s had a rough start to his Blues career. I much prefer Allsopp but I feel like blaming BPF for the goal is unfair. Edit: just got to the part where Mr Dick says ‘it’s a BPF error, foul or no foul’ and I’m astonished 🤣 if it’s a foul, it’s not his fault! Great podcast as always though, enjoyable to listen to.
Anderson did well at the start of last season till he got injured and lost his place in the team. He’s certainly doing well this season. Other positives include some great signings: TGH, Thor, Stanno, May, Hanson, iwata, Klarer, Cochran, Yoko, Davies, etc. I’d like us to offload a few of the defenders from last season’s relegation squad and maybe sign a CH and GK in Jan.
I agree that he should command the six yard box, but BPF was impeded It's called obstruction and no idea why a free kick was awarded. The Exeter player's arm was raised too. Brian is wrong imho and I wonder that if BPF hadn't made some mistakes whether Blues fans would be blaming him for this goal.

I thought Sanderson played o.k , he won most headers and was generally comfortable playing out from the back. Laird was terrible though.

Got to remember dion and laird were a main stay in a relegated defence last season

BPF was bundled into the net by no47 for the goal…fouled
Come on they were basically a reserve side also blues scored a goal that was deemed offside which clearly was not

BPF could have been more forceful, but it was a foul - also EFL refs are terrible so you can understand why we aren't getting the decisions.
