Wow! Great run, great finish! 😊👍🏻 I watched the new video with pleasure. Congratulations on the return of Parkrun! And I managed to participate, and even record 5 Parkrun on video, after which they were closed again. Good luck with your new runs! 😊👍🏻
Ah, the fella in the vegan runners top, yeah, he has a distinctive running style, I'm not sure whether he was first or second, but he was certainly up there. The first and second finishing times were 17:05 and 17:11, well over by the time I got there, to see who came first !
Cheers, I think I started off a bit quick and paid for it at the end, but it gives me something to work on, hopefully get my time back down soon! The start is quite flat until where the trees build up towards the first corner, where it drops away. The are a few gradient changes, but it's steep incline near the end of the lap that hurts!
Mile 1: 6 mins. Mile 2: 6 mins 55. Mile 3. 7 mins 8? I'd love to see you set off and maintain 6 mins 26 pace for as long as you can. That start was mental. Let them all run by and blow themselves up and you'll be back under 20 mins in no time mate. Please try it next time? You're way faster than this I can tell, it's just your pacing that needs perfecting.
Awesome perspective and great time!
Cheers, glad you enjoyed it!
And thank you for subscribing !

Cheers, didn't quite get the finish I was after, but was good to be back!
Hope you're parkrun returns soon!
Thank you! 😊
Did the guy in the Macmillan top win? He went off very fast with a unique style

@@MattClarry fairplay thought he’d blow up before the end. Good to see parkrun back
I have a few Vegan Runners at my local ParkRun and they are consistantly fast so they must be doing something right.
Well done! How did you find your pacing? You seemed to go off fast but I couldn't tell if the start was downhill.

Fella in the blue top wasn’t gonna let you have 12th
Indeed he wasn't.
I will have my revenge though, maybe not this week, or next, but revenge shall be mine!
@@MattClarry Pacing and you will destroy him!
Great video. What software do you use to superimpose the heart rate etc onto video?
Cheers !
I use the Garmin VIRB Edit software, it can be a bit fiddly sometimes, but it gets the job done.

@@MattClarry I'm so looking forward to that video! You will fly if you hold back at the start, I promise.
