This song. It’s me. If I was a song, it would be this one. I want to cry, but I physically can’t. I have never felt an emotion this raw in my entire life. I don’t even know how to describe it. It feels as though i am tied to the ground, still, but my soul is pouring out of my body and I can feel the nothingness around me. I’m so safe In my own little bubble and I wish it never had to be broken. It’s unsettling but it’s beautiful.
This song really grabs my heart. The combination of the song lyrics and happy/sad undertones is great. Dying and leaving to heaven, Joining the divine at the pearly gates, and watching your own body decay into a flower. The song prances around death/dormant bodies lightly, and it’s eerily soothing. It’s a lullaby even. It lulls you yet it’s on the topic of death.
