I have a 81 and I’m getting no spark just trying to get some tips it ran fine without a battery before I disconnected the wires then painted reconnected now doesn’t get spark lmk please
The Vm34 is what the orange one has. It runs alot better then the red one. I think the red one is in need of a carb swap and a set of rings, hasn't run right for awhile now. I'm pretty sure mikuni has a jet kit for Kl250s also
Yes, kl250s are street legal bikes. These one will need some work before they are "street legal" again (blinkers) but yes, I could go to the DMV and get plates for these
I had a 1979 klx 250 that I bought new. What a sweet bike. Very plush ride for offroad use. Now I own a 1985 Suzuki SP 250 with only 700 miles on it.
Oh nice! Yeah. I like the 80-81 kls the most! Sounds like a nice Suzuki!
I had an 82 in the orange, I rode it to high school from 92-93. I've always wished i still had her
Yeah, I think the orange or blue on these bikes is the best looking.
Awesome repair, thanks for sharing, enjoyed watching!
Thanks for watching Scotty!

Could you tell me which aftermarket carb you put into the bike? Looking at mikuni vm34 but considering a cheap knockoff first?
