When I played this level for the first time, my mother folded the blinds around the house completely for house cleaning purposes, and I was sitting at my computer, right next to a fully open window, whilst playing this zone wind was flying at my face from the window, and made it feel like I was ON the battery, and oh boy i zoomed through that stage feeling happy as could be

A lot of the people that worked on this game were creators of fan works, including Christian Whitehead, whole was the whole mastermind behind Sonic 4 and mobile ports for Sega Genesis Sonic games.

The transition from Studiopolis to here has gotta be the best Zone Transition in the entire series. Yes it’s ingenious, but when this song starts up, it goes from an awesome transition to the best.

Don't get me wrong I absolutely love this song but spending nearly 2 weeks on 1 level on a game about a cartoon blue hedgehog really does just make you think: "Wow...𝐼 𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓁𝓁𝓎 𝒹𝑜 𝓈𝓊𝒸𝓀, 𝒽𝓊𝒽?"
Well, i mean, with instant death pits, and only 3 lives before having to try the level over, and the fact that sonic is so slide-y, i hardly think it's your fault.
(Cringe alert, don’t judge me lol) So when I was about 7-8 years old, I had a small phone, and it had UA-cam on it, so when I went to my local park, I put Flying Battery Zone on while my phone was in my pocket, and I was climbing the monkey bars and climbed other stuff while the music was playing in my pocket, and all the other kids looked at me like I was f**king insane lol.
I imagine I’m not the only one who has had a bad experience with flying battery zone, but… yeah this is a bop (edit - I changed my mind I like Flying Battery)

What I love about this version is that it is the same theme as the original, but with extra instruments ala Sonic Generation style. It's like you are back to the past while still staying in the present.

I never new that adding james bond to a flying airship theme would make it sound so good.
They added James Bond to an ancient pyramid as well (albeit much much shorter), and it still worked. That's just how good this theme is.
