Like your friend, my students had nothing so I had to provide them with supplies. On a teachers salary, this was rough. So I began diving! Always found cool and unique treasures that the kids loved! Also furnished my apartments and financed vacations! I loved dumpster diving❤️ but I’m in a wheelchair now so I’m thrilled to experience the adventures with you and Steve! Preesi this store doesn’t even HAVE a recycle dumpster! And the amount of paper Staples throws away from the copy center is unbelievable! They shred too!
I did it! My first dumpster diving,it was very exiting and fun. I asked their permission first, and everybody said you can get whatever you want🤗🤗. This morning I found 4 canvas and 4 square of glass, I use them for my mandala...what else , and many pieces of wood, for mandala as well. ❤️❤️
Steph, I would have taken that huge pillow for my dogs. It looked like green foam inside. So easy to unzip and wash both. Amazing how much you scored from Staples.

I also carry a Sharpie too! I never knew you could get a gel pen with an eraser! I've not bought a new pen for a very long time! 😊 Once, someone 'borrowed' my pen and liked it that much they kept it, i didn't realise until i got home, but managed to catch up with them the next weekend & got it back! Phew!😊
hey guys newbie to your channel, Warms my heart to see how passionate you are, and donating such a great feeling. . As a former retail management from food chain to home decor I saw tons of things I didn't agree with. I have always loved garage sale, estate sale, I find it stupid to spend so much on items and most people do. All companies are different and many won't change their ways or policies. One home decor store I understood why they had to mark the items before tossing. We had a bunch of people trying to return items. And when you have to clean up a full dumpsters over n over I get why some employees get upset. For me I had some fav customers that I let them look thru damaged items. I had it out many times with some big corp idiots. They only look at numbers, so I would challenged them to spend a day with me. I first drove around few areas where I would see homeless people ( as I was told there are no homeless in that area) big rich houses area. So I had one manager ride along with me. Also they had to work the whole shift with me. And wow that did open their eyes to see the stuff others could use. Most stores get so many dollars allowed for write offs. I was a deli manager for big chain and it was hard get them to listen. I asked over n over to just listen to my plan. It took 6 months before I got any big shots to listen. I found local food bank and few shelters. I got some volunteers from all departments who would help gather food that is dumped out daily. Fresh rolls breads, from deli good roasted chickens, soups. Well I of course had to test out my plan so over the 6 mths. I documented everything and of course I could have gotten fired but I had to try. I don't recommend employees go out and do this as I found out I could have went to jail. There are many reasons foods have to be dumped. Trust me many employees and managers do struggle with this. They had paid for me to take food sanitation course and after that my eyes were open. I got to know many homeless people over the years n years, it is heartbreaking that we live in such an un-compassionate society. Thank you for all you donate you guys have big hearts. I hope you reach some of the big Corps and many some will listen. Thanks you guys are very entertaining Stef for your teacher friend (since you have big following) you can do a type of go fund me but you set it up on amazon (teachers pick out) whatever her class or school needs you have a link to amazon on your channel the items come to your or her to be opened and organized. Is kind of sad how much we dont appreciate pens and pencils. For those who dont have them it can mean a lot. Thanks Staples for their lack of appreciation so that they can be given to those who need them.
I love stationary, it’s so expensive and we buy loads of it, always have since our boy started school, he used to share everything with his friends who would go to school without anything and he couldn’t see them without so everyday he’d go with a full pencil case ad come home with an empty one

Lori Bollinger haven’t encountered a bedbug yet! 🎉🤞🏼 😆 We’ve been full time resellers just the two of us since 2012 when the construction company we worked for closed its doors after the economy crashed and we decided to try to work for ourselves if we possibly could and haven’t looked back! We buy pallets of customer returns, buy from auctions, lots of government liquidation, local purchases, store close outs, used to hit thrift stores and estate sales etc all the time but have recently found dumpster diving to be waaaay more fun and profitable than thrift stores (prices are so high in California and nothing is really old)! Since you’re new to the channel you’ve probably mainly seen dumpster diving but we only started dumpster diving around May of last year so we’re fairly new to it compared to most divers! It’s SO much fun we’ve become addicted! 😆 we sell almost 100% locally on local apps for the good or big stuff and at swap meets. I got a laptop ,an electric razor,a karaoke machine, 10 by 12 area rug ( I like to never got it out), mr. coffee coffee maker, a bunch, a bunch, a bunch of bric-a-brac, so much Electronics, clothes that was not slashed, a 5-foot metal shelf, very ,very pretty, and so much more stuff ,I really, really scored! I was doing all this by myself, sure was fun
That's awesome what you do for those kids I'm going to do do that when we start diving, right now my husband says we can't do it until he gets started back on his meds for neuropathy cause right now he can't stand more than a few minutes and he won't let me do it without him cause I have epilepsy so we have to get his meds pray it gets started soon!

I bought them. Great... But it gets stuck... Alll the time. However ... I found a mop stick in the DUMPSTER and I cut the end off. Then, Paid 4 bucks for 4 rubber covered hooks (replaceable) and attached them to the end of the mop stick. BEST Stick ever!!!!
OMG I’m a stationary-a-holic. I just had a clear out and donated them to my sisters class. She teaches year 2. The kids LOVED my sticker collection. My sister was saying “Clare you are a Midwife, so why do you have so many reward stickers” in my defence I do give the little visitors at my work a sticker or stamp when they visit their mum. Why would the shop not donate all of them to schools. A lot of these stores in Australia ask for donations to supply underprivileged kids with a backpack full of school supplies, and I’m sure that your shops would also ask for donations at back to school time.

My grabber sticks when I grab items. But it is pretty good. Just started using it last week and it made a world of difference being able reach items

I love stationary, it’s so expensive and we buy loads of it, always have since our boy started school, he used to share everything with his friends who would go to school without anything and he couldn’t see them without so everyday he’d go with a full pencil case ad come home with an empty one

Lori Bollinger haven’t encountered a bedbug yet! 🎉🤞🏼 😆 We’ve been full time resellers just the two of us since 2012 when the construction company we worked for closed its doors after the economy crashed and we decided to try to work for ourselves if we possibly could and haven’t looked back! We buy pallets of customer returns, buy from auctions, lots of government liquidation, local purchases, store close outs, used to hit thrift stores and estate sales etc all the time but have recently found dumpster diving to be waaaay more fun and profitable than thrift stores (prices are so high in California and nothing is really old)! Since you’re new to the channel you’ve probably mainly seen dumpster diving but we only started dumpster diving around May of last year so we’re fairly new to it compared to most divers! It’s SO much fun we’ve become addicted! 😆 we sell almost 100% locally on local apps for the good or big stuff and at swap meets. Patty Vergara that’s a shame! It’s hard to compete when Walmart carries a huge section of that stuff. Why make two trips? 🤷🏼♀️ also Amazon is so easy these days. I can’t believe they’re still open! BUT from a business perspective...we used to order full price from them at our last job. They’d deliver it was convenient. Sure wish I was dumpster diving back then! 🙈

I got a laptop ,an electric razor,a karaoke machine, 10 by 12 area rug ( I like to never got it out), mr. coffee coffee maker, a bunch, a bunch, a bunch of bric-a-brac, so much Electronics, clothes that was not slashed, a 5-foot metal shelf, very ,very pretty, and so much more stuff ,I really, really scored! I was doing all this by myself, sure was fun

That's awesome what you do for those kids I'm going to do do that when we start diving, right now my husband says we can't do it until he gets started back on his meds for neuropathy cause right now he can't stand more than a few minutes and he won't let me do it without him cause I have epilepsy so we have to get his meds pray it gets started soon!

I bought them. Great... But it gets stuck... Alll the time. However ... I found a mop stick in the DUMPSTER and I cut the end off. Then, Paid 4 bucks for 4 rubber covered hooks (replaceable) and attached them to the end of the mop stick. BEST Stick ever!!!!

OMG I’m a stationary-a-holic. I just had a clear out and donated them to my sisters class. She teaches year 2. The kids LOVED my sticker collection. My sister was saying “Clare you are a Midwife, so why do you have so many reward stickers” in my defence I do give the little visitors at my work a sticker or stamp when they visit their mum.
Why would the shop not donate all of them to schools. A lot of these stores in Australia ask for donations to supply underprivileged kids with a backpack full of school supplies, and I’m sure that your shops would also ask for donations at back to school time.
I got a grabber given to me by the NHS when I had a hip replacement.i love it and my grandkids like it 2.....
