Mind you, all the videos we react to from jubilee generally have been online for months and have stopped accruing views. Our commentary video always links the original video and often drives views to the original since we always make a huge effort to never react to the full video. Its unfortunate but you gotta roll with the punches! Hopefully all of this gets sorted out amicably but regardless, we appreciate you fans!

Sure some react content probably isn't fair use, but A&P definitely is on the side of reaction channels that would fall under fair use due to the amount of editing they do and commentary they make. They don't just play the whole video with minimal commentary. Even if it is a situation where it is unclear and a determination would need to be made that's up to a court so still not Jubilee.

No, Jubilee do not have the power to take the money away from channels that react to them, not in court at least. This is UA-cam. They don't need to follow the law.
It easily falls under fair use, but they will probably whine and cry about discrimination against alphabet people, even though Abba and Preach haven't done that. But it will be politics which decides it, not logic,law, and even following the spirit of the law either which I believe Abba and Preach have done.

I just took a look and after a long-ass time reading the comments the only one I found that wasn't simply about how they fucked up badly by copyright striking these guys was a comment that started "Regarding AI, I think..." and then went on to say that they fucked up by copyright striking these guys lol. I literally saw zero comments that were not about this.
If this channel goes, does the second channel go too or can we still watch you guys there?

Whew!!! Holy! The comments in Jubille latest is flaming TF outa them, i found maybe four comments about the content of theyre latest video, the rest are in support of the boys.
With a name like "LDS Affiliate US", this sounds like a rogue company claiming videos for a quick buck. There's a good chance they're not even be operating with Jubilee but stuck their name there to make it look more legit and scare content creators off. UA-cam's garbage copyright system has allowed this kind of predatory shit to fester unchecked for years.
Did a little searching and it looks like a company called "Little Dot Studios" has been associated with that name for a few years, also associated with some copyright claims from a while back.
I was gonna say this because this happend a couple years back with Bungie. Some discruntled player made like 3 fake accounts posing to acting on Bungies behalf. Some real villian shit. He got found out like quick, but there was some damage done to bungines rep at the time.
UA-cam fucking sucks. The people in charge have ignored these problems (and many others) for so goddamn long, they don't give a shit about defending their creators who make them all their money

This! My client's video got copyright from music we already purchase from Envato. The company that strike the copyright is so random. They are not the creator or Envato that provide music. I don't know why anyone can just claim the music like that.
In the US, you can sue for false copyright strikes under section 512(f). It also allows you to be compensated for reasonable attorney fees.
I have experience with it. Strikes cost a channel a LOT of revenue.
I'm unsure what jurisdiction this would be heard in, but what you guys do is CLEARLY fair use.
No matter what they do in the end, they've already stepped over the line. Teach them they can't do it again, and RECOUP WHAT THEY'VE ALREADY TAKEN.

Update: the strike was flagged by LDS without Jubilee's permission. Jubilee has stated they do not have any knowledge of this (bogus) company and did not give consent. They've contacted UA-cam and had the strikes removed.

This is gonna hurt the Jubilee channel so badly. I can imagine the myriad of fans flocking to their channel to leave negative comments, downvote their videos and unsubscribe. Its not to condone the behavior, but spiteful actions yield negative reactions from people, and this is one of those cases. I'd advise you guys to not only delete the videos, but you need to create separate accounts for each of your channels. This way, if one goes, the others aren't hit but the Domino Effect. But whatever happens, I've certainly enjoyed the ride and will continue to do so if it keeps going.
