Dude call your Thai guy it's a Thai boat ask a Thai what to do
You need to find someone who can vaccum bag one side and suck epoxy through the crack. Tape and vacuum bags a good vacuum pump
Man this boat is so epic dude! Mad penis extension.
🇹🇭 ปล่อยเรือเรือลงนํ้าซัก1คืนตวามชื้นจะทําให้ไม้ขยานตัวกลับเข้าหากัน 👌👍
Water water water wood swells and seals it’s self
I definitely called the Builder and get suggestions from him on how to fix these cracks correctly.
Never thought I would see two guys that literally had no idea what they’re doing in a boat. But it was entertaining. The dude just letting the boat float away, then putting it in the water without a paddle or tying off to a dock. That was just crazy.
Just part of the script, I personally don't care for non reality bits.
Yeah, as soon as the flare came out, I tuned out. Leaning into being helpless is dumb.
it was tied off
yea in the biginnin I was like WHAT THE F!$#^ YOU DOIN??? DUMBA.... CATCH THE BOAT!!!!
then I saw that the wind would have only took it one way and that way was the other dock... I was like naaaaa not gunna point out at 13:13 that was either a DUMBA$$ move or a ''for the video we will do this.....'' moment... ;) eh wutever probababababally the ''for the VIDEO'' moment ;)
😮
All you need is some of that Flex Seal! 😂 I’m sure you could order that through Cleet & Squirrels restoration, hell! I’m sure those bois would even help ya fix it with some of that leftover Bondo🤣🤣🤣
Take it to hibachi auto body 😂
and some content editing
i have a feeling the wood is super dry so it has shrunk. i think having it sit in the water and saturate it would swell and seal itself.
Exactly what happens 👍
Maybe….Humility in Florida is similar to Thailand. Probably cracked in shipping.
i agree
That's right. In Thailand we don't keep boats on land for long periods of time. It will drying out and cracking. I guess wooden boat This travels in a container for a long time. This causes the wood to dry out and shrink. You can try spraying it with water and covering it with plastic to make the wood swell back up. Love from Thailand🇹🇭
I believe they built it out of Teak. Teak is naturally water resistant due to the natural oils. My deck is teak and doesn't absorb water. You can use teak oil but that locks you into at least a yearly ritual. I've also been told not to oil it in an outdoor environment because you can lock in water and cause it to rot from the inside.
Teak also isn't glossy like his boat is which makes me think it's been clear coated with something. Shipping would cause cracks in the varnish or whatever they coated it with.
the wood has dried out over time , once the wood has sucked up some moisture again it will swell and should stop leaking , might even want to submerge the boat for a bit
100% facts. We used to sink small wooden crabbing skiffs on purpose for a day and pull it out of the water, sealed tight as a gnats ass…
To fix this just fill the inside of the hull with water it will swell shut and stop leaking it’s dried out and is common on wooden boats
You can get epoxy to fill the crack by making a box on the outside of the hull to apply a vacuum to pull the epoxy into the crack from the inside. I have done this a few times on some hard to repair places.
Damn that's a good idea. I'd like to see that process. I'm sure that would draw the epoxy in real good.
I was going to make that Suggestion However I wanted to see if anybody else would come up with a resin vacuum Suggestion to them Because we do it all the time
This is the way
Second this. That’s how we do complex composite repairs on military aircraft.
😮
I know several years ago I had a friend and his dad had a classic cross craft all wood boat in Arkansas. In the spring after winter, after dewinterizing the motor he would in his driveway put the garden hose in the bottom of the boat with the plug in. Fill it as high as he could without hurting the seating and motor and trans. Let sit. After a day put more water in. Ater the beginning of the week water would leak out for a few days. By the end of the week it would hold all the water.
When it stopped loosing water he knew it was ready to use for the summer.
Wood just dries and shrinks.
Easy and free to try just loose some time if it does not work.
Hope that helps.
Every boat owner was stressed out watching that guy let your brand new boat slam into that dock 😅
Right then shows a huge Crack wtf😮
@@blasteryfs250 was thinking the same thing, same side it hit lol
It really didn’t even hit that hard tho
The old wood mastercraft boats we're known to leak a little when you first put them in the water and the woods swells up a bit .
Luke McFadden has a video on this. It's normal when they get taken out of water. The would drys and splits. He uses this white stuff that he hammers in the splits and it fixes the cracks. Pretty easy and genius
It would swell and would be fine.
@@lietuvis96 I agree
They been doing that shit for 864 years
do not beat cotton into side of that teak boat
only problem is this boat is coating inside and out unlike his boats that just have the outside painted.
You should park the trailer in your driveway 😁
he did that lol
Parker, you need to seal the crack by pulling a vacuum on the outside of the boat where the crack is. Then, you can use a thin epoxy and the vacuum to wick the glue into the crack from the inside out.
Listening to James talk about the fittings shows how much knowledge he really possesses. These guys are way more than we can see on camera.
I agree.
All of these guys are master mechanics with incredible knowledge on legitimately everything with in the whole crew.
They’ve all been building their own race cars in their garages for decades. And now have all of the best equipment to play with.
Even LS George is a legit mechanic.
It's unbelievable that a Thai-style boat is there, especially with you. It's really cool. I'm rooting for you. I'm from Thailand.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Put the boat back in the water, the wood has shrunk, so call your buddies, meet in the dock, have a bbq and chill, the wood will seal it self, good luck from Norway🎉
Love this project
cool guy helping with the hellcat
I wait for you every day, every moment, waiting to watch your videos, bro
Super cool and different dude, love the longtail content.
Asking Tye…… I’ve been saying it over on the Cleetus channel. He’s a smart dude with some serious talent

So cool my buddy Doug could help you out with the car. Awesome job
i do think with the engine in and more draw youll get more water flow, i also think you should put a scoop on the intake so when youre at speed it forces water into the intake.
I know shipyards in the Netherlands that build wooden boats they put them in the water in a hoist for a couple of days to swell and become watertight. When out of the water for too long they start to leak again.
Fiberglass and epoxy the whole outer hull like a cedar strip canoe. Thing will be damn near bulletproof
that’s the way crafted boats works . it needs water to make the wood swell and seal . it came from a way humid country and it’s been out of the water for a while making it dry and contract because it wasn’t in water long enough.
So, this is what's going to happen: you are going to have a lot of fun, rip around a bunch, damage it, fix it, rip it, damage it.... And then use this hull to make a plug to lay up a fiberglass long tail. And then you will be good to go! The first fiberglass long tail in history.
My sister's uncle had one. Sorry not the first
Bravo🎉 yall quite the combo 😂😂😂
Could also do a clear epoxy coating over the exterior of the hull but that takes alot of time and space
ขอให้คุณทำให้สำเร็จ เร็วเร็วนะค่ะเป็นกำลังใจให้ค่ะ
Blackburn I love it!
Fill it with water and let it sit until it stops.
You're happy when you buy the boat... You are giddy when you sell it. This seems like a lot of time & $$$ to be unique.
We went semi-unique with an Allison Grand Sport. Looks good and will do a ton.
Parker the wood is dry!! The boat needs to swell! Good luck!
Those water pickups are designed for forcing water in while the boat is in motion. Look up water pick ups on an RC boat, they are exactly like that. The pump would only be used for when the boat is idle.
Yeah when he said that the pump doesn't work I realized they don't know anything about boats. You have to have it connected to create a siphon effect
Flexseal. Hands down. You can make a boat from a screen door with that stuff.
จุดรองรับบนเทรลเลอร์มันดีมาก ทำให้รองรับท้องเรือ👏
A fiend of mine is from that part of the world brought furniture back to America the last time he traveled. Once here the furniture started splitting and cracking. I know Florida is pretty humid, but you might see some more splits
BOIS yall almost did WHAT?!!! ALREADY 😂😂😂😂 oml lemme watch this thang
The leak depends on wether the split is opening up more when u stand on the port side if so it means there is a issue letting the hull seperate, like the top and bottom of the side of the hull are pulling apart
The Atwood rope shoutout brought back some memories of roman atwood
I know it's not fiberglass, but you should look into vacuum infusing the resin into the crack. It would guarantee little to no air inside giving a better/longer lasting bond
Won’t it swell as it sits in water? Thought all wood boats leak until they saturate
Id suggest gouging with drimel and using 3m marine epoxy with carbon mesh
Hi. Wooden boats always leak when first put in the water, after being ashore and dry for a while. They eventually take up and expand into place and seal.
That’s unless there is damage.
Waiting one day y’all do MS fittings.
Nice editing bro!
Parker that Hellcat hurts my feelings, I've aways wanted one of those and I can't seem to afford one lol but shit happens that way. But it's still a Hellcat I love it .But your boat kicks ass brother, I can't wait to see your boat done and you flying on the water with your diesel engine that's going to be sweet. Just like when you was driving that other one just like it. Keep up the great work and God Bless you and your family brother 🙏🏼 😊👍
i follow you and i waiting to see the boat is running for your next vlog
Hibachi restoration 🦒🐿 555-yer-done....and towing
Nice trailer boat burnouts❤
Just keep clear coating it 🎉 it'll fill in. Also it just is dried up so need a few more sends! you might get lucky it'll swell up over time!!

I would get a vacuum bagging system for epoxy, tape it down on the outside of the boat, vacuum the moisture out , then vacuum the epoxy in from the inside. West systems epoxy is what I would use, that's what we use to build our wood outboard hydroplanes and runabouts.
I think your inlet for the pump was partially out of the water due to the engine not being in it. It was sucking air alternating waves. Might want to check that before you buy a new pump.
You could do a thin layer of fiberglass on the outside of the boat.
I know nothing structurally about boats but would the weight of the engine play any part in maybe "pulling" the structure of the boat back into place to stop the leaks?
ในที่สุดเอาเรือลงน้ำแล้ว ตรวจสอบเรือก่อน เอาเครื่องมาติดสินะ จะรอชมครับ หวังว่าจะซ่อมได้นะครับ
Was the boat bending those fork extensions or have cleet n squirrel bent them on something? ..they were stressing...
What if you work on a boat? Best of both worlds
You have to put a few bench seats full with foam for floatation so you won't sink.
Use the Composite Materials Vacuum Bag technique to draw Fibrous Epoxy into a widened fault area...
Wooden boats need to be emersed in water for a couple of days before use. the wood shrinks when its dry and wont seal. This is old viking ship stuff :) -From a Norwegian
Parker is that a Subaru STI hatch in your garage?????? If so I'd love to see an episode of it bro huge Subaru fan I have an 04 STI thats low miles and I love the thing my absolute favorite vehicle lol minus how much they cost to repair 🤣😂🤟
When you have a hellcat, but jeep IS life😂😂
Ayy the atwood rope shoutout
the mems are on point
You may connect the suction hose to shut off.
Surprised you didn't have the boat furthur forward on the trailer. Looks like you could have shortend the trailer by 8' if you brought it way forward and let the front over hang a bit.
Damn those diff bolts look impossibel!!! How the helllll
12:39 so thats why cleetus needed a new super charger lol
Suggestion, I would Get that trailer polished. What looks sick
That’s a BA idea
Make a vacuum seal along the separation dam the out side and vacuum the sealant through the crack
flex seal tape. you can cut a boat in half, then tape it back together.
Everyone giving suggestions to Parker as if he’s going to be the one doing any of the work are funnier than any of the scripted bits in this video 😂
Normally on a wooden boat the wood pound a cotton material into the crack to make it water tight and when the put the boat in the water and the wood begins to swell it will push the cotton out as the woods seal up..But you boat won't stay in the water so you will have alot of wood swelling and shrinking so it could cause more cracks don't know how well they sealed that wood to protect it from absorbing water you might have to use somekind of marine epoxy to coat the whole boat inside and out to keep it from absorbing water cause when it dries out it will cause more cracks!!
Clear wrap the boat that should seal it ?
ว๊าวมากๆเลย อสูรร้ายได้ลงน้ำแล้ว
Prime before turning on and keep your hand over the outlet to stop backflow
Slim Dusty a Bad Days fishing beats a good days work everytime.
You don’t think those water intakes without the engine were just maybe barely touching the water? They are right at the edge of the hull and it had to be balancing more center or even front without the weight back there maybe they weren’t fully submerged.
several options......
I would find a place to fully submerge the boat for a two-three day period, bale it out refloat, shop vac and wipe dry.., leak and future leaks fixed.
If not flip and support the boat, inside a garage or a shaded area. lay on several layers of water absorbent materials like blankets , sheets and terry towels, soak it with water and keep it wet for a week.
Whatever you do Stay away from heat lamps this could cause a lot of harm and cracking in other areas, instead....,the boat would repair itself better if it were placed in a cool garage with several humidifiers going for several weeks.
Teak is not affected nor susceptible to water damage or wood rot.
If the leak is in a seam, the wood is to dry...,it needs water and nothing else.
Take in consideration how long some of those boards are..., if the boat is dry, kept dry and or exposed to the sun, imagine how much warping is going on. Your boat could be now 50 lbs lighter than when it was shipped
Love the content brother
May want to put some bunks on the sides on the rear of trailer
do an emulsion of teak sawdust and epoxy resin. add a vacuum formed bag on the outside and have it suction the emulsion through the cracks. wait a few days, repeat the process a couple times, and voila.
The next flex seal commercial. Strong enough to seal a long tail ti bout lmao.
Bring it to Azz Inc in Crowley Texas to get powder coated, they have the largest powder coating oven in the USA
This is the worst edited video you have, I love it!😂
Your hull got dry and shrunk. What you need to do is let it soak and let the wood expand again so that it will seal itself back up. Wood shrinks when in a dry environment like a shipping container with the sun beating on it. The best way would be to remove all the electrical components and fill the bottom of the hull with water. The leaks will eventually stop. I would not use epoxy. Contact the builder. He can tell you what to use that is natural to seal it up. Rubbing the crack Beez wax is what I'm going to guess will seal it up from the outside and still look natural. Teak wood is naturally water resistant. In Thailand, they don't remove the boats from the water long because the wood shrinks. It just has to sit in water to seal itself or fill the bottom with water as I said before. I think in America the Beeswax is called Carnauba Was. Same kind as you put for the surfing board but a natural kind.
Was that the spot with the crocodile?
Is that Cleetus Raptor R or yours Parker?
Rhino line it!! It would give it more of the GatorTail look 😊
Start by plugging 1 of your intakes up ,you are getting air in one side
Not an expert but would there be a way to vacuum pull the epoxy into the crack?
I would get in touch with the men that restore Chris Craft boats. They can direct you exactly what to do.
Show me what a bad crimp looks like! Please!
Maybe ask @CBMedia404 if he knows somebody in Thailand who can tell how to fix this crack. He also let built a Thai Riverboat a few years ago.
Hmm could be an issue of the strape and ratchet on the nose looks like u have it bowed like a bow n arrow .. in the clip while on the trailer it appeared to be not resting on the 3rd frt of boat was not touching. ??
Killer boat Parker!! Do not short cut the boat repair. It has to be repaired correctly or IT WILL bite you in the ass. I have some experience with old wooden boats. Do it wrong do it twice. You cannot coat the boat with rhino liner it will not stop the water coming in.
