Hi Mela and Don. It is interesting how you made you bus into your home and all the work you have put into it. I think it was well worth it as it looks great. Very stylish and comfortable at the same time and I love the fact it is opened plan ie minus doors as it flows form one area to another so well yet you can tell which one is which. Thank you for sharing and giving me a tour of your marvelous home on wheels.
Beautiful job guys. You've had a long road and now it's time to enjoy. As I sit here in the Upper peninsula of Michigan with snow falling and cold temps ( which I enjoy) in the beauty that is winter. I would say a limitation for many full-time RVers is, you all have to head south to avoid freezing temperatures. And I'm sure things can get pretty crowded with the limited Southern states. I prefer all four seasons. Many people miss out on the Beauty that is winter. Plus ice fishing is my favorite kind of fishing. Travel Safe. Just my observation Cold isn't for everyone.
Most do flock south for the winter but some people build their buses to handle real winters. Like our friends Yvan and Sylvie. They are in Canada living in their bus right now!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I absolutely love love this conversion. Also if I ever want to build my own on the road home it will surely be like this. Thanks guys you all did a wonderful job🙏🏽😊
I have watched you both building your bus. I absolutely love your bus, it is absolutely stunning ❣️. Plus you didn't think of yourselves, but you made it comfortable your beautiful kitties 😻.
Omg! Loving how functional this build is - having the cat litter in the basement is brilliant! 👏👏👏 Tell me you do something similar for garbage and dirty laundry and i will be giving you a standing ovation from my kitchen ! 🤣😄
IF WE COULD JUST "ALL" HAVE A HUBBY LIKE THIS! TAKE NOTES MEN!!!! HE IS SUPER LOVING, THOUGHTFUL, SUPER HANDY, SO CREATIVE, HARDWORKING, FUN, ROMANTIC, LOVES KITTIES, LOVES HIS WIFE, LOVES LIFE ... #HUBBYGOALS
My 1989 37' Class A Coach Remodel project is nearing the rebuilding the interior phase. Should have the Hot Rod engine running this winter. And the only thing I'm thinking I'm going to wish I had, is one slideout in the living room area. Nothing big of fancy. Maybe 7 or 8 feet wide. But I'm not sure I'll be doing it because of all the horror stories I hear about slideouts. I enjoy seeing how much functionality you two have managed to fit in your bus without any slideouts. I bought my "Big Girl"back in 1996 when I was trying to recover from a divorce (#1) and it has given me a lot of pleasure over the years, so that's why I haven't upgraded to a newer one. That and it's been paid for, for years.... My (new) wife of 25 years, as of last month, and I have discovered so many places we enjoy together during our dating and marriage years, it's just part of our relationship. We will eventually cross paths with you guys I'm sure. And since we are retired now, the only thing keeping us home is not having the "Big Girls" total remodel complete. Seen you on the road soon!
You have made your bus very beautiful and comfortable. every part has its unique role, the skylights in the bus let so much light in but have you thought about making covers using runners or guide rails with a light but decorative cover so that they would blend in with the ceiling? I have enjoyed every video you have made, your editing skills are first class and you capture the scenery so beautifully
Wow, it looks so good, all of your struggles really plaid off, you must have had an angel watching over you and also congratulations on your wedding I'm wishing you both many years of happiness! 🎊🎊🎊
For your skylights you may want to check out a ceramic window film made for cars - it’s clear and colourless and blocks 90% of the UV that causes solar gain - can’t remember if it was made by 3M, Corning or DuPont - saw it on a UA-cam video about car window tints - the video wanted to set the record straight that the only thing the dark tints do is provide privacy, they don’t keep the car any cooler - they had a thermometer set up to prove their point etc - suffice to say, I got the message! 🤣
I am so in love w./ Your build.. and I for one am glad you removed those windows 🥰👍 I was closed to the purchase of the bus My est.. as to all the inner body 60.000 and all else Repairs.. 40.000.. 👍
Hi guys, just want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year in your travelling home bus. Thank you for all the videos you put out. Look forward to see more of your videos. Stay safe and have a nice Christmas
Hi peeps ☺ Great vlog, thanks so very much for sharing this incredible build. Wow nothing left out. Love the name, was actually going to ask you about it. My Mom's favorite island 🏝 😍 Warm and happy Merry Christmas 🎅 Love you all 🕉💕😻😻
How much do you pay for all your internet connections each month?? How much was the starlink and how do you use it??? How many phones does each of you have?? What kind are they and which do you find the most useful???
Huge bay area in a full size coach but used a composting toilet 🤢? That’s for van conversions when you don’t have space for a tank, you should have used a large black tank, vented through the roof, and you could have gone weeks without dumping, with zero handling or smell, or looking at it. What’s the big deal with putting a hose to a dump station and pulling a lever and never having to deal with that $4it.
How about that toilet with NO privacy ?? With a 40' Coach I would REQUIRE a full time bed! LOL This Coach was built to THEIR needs. They will have troubles selling if they ever decide to... JMO
the only thing I didn't like about the bathroom was the location of the toilet, it was very impersonal. The other utensils in the kitchen, living room and bedroom were great.
Hi guys! I tried to join the “tribe” but was unable to write any info. The site didn’t pull up my typewriter. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. I chose the $8/month version.
Oh awesome, we’ll be very happy to have you in the Tribe. I just tried on my phone and it was working. Perhaps try again or maybe you need to update your app??? Either way we look forward to seeing you there
Will we ever hear a tune written by Don? A lite hearted tune extoling the highs of living a free lifestyle? That would be cool!
Hey Mark, he hopes to find the time to finish the album we’ve been working on. And you’ll definitely be hearing it then 😁
You need to submit this video bus tour to one of the popular tiny house channels!!! Bravo!!💯❤
Thank you! Yes we may do one of those one day :)

Great tour guys! Mela, I think you summed it up perfectly why building your own bus/van tiny home is sooo worth it.

Hello 👋 I love you guy's 💗
Do you have any items or processes that you now want to change???
Do you have a backup plan if the bus gets on fire and destroys everything in it?
This is awesome. Why did you go with a hot water tank rather than an on demand unit? Just wondering. Was it power draw or something else?
What was the cost of the complete power plant system????
😊
