ASEAN consists of 10 countries and their economies are fast developing in the global sphere. This puts the USD under pressure, as several developing countries including the ASEAN bloc are looking to end reliance on the U.S. dollar.

I am Indonesian.. ASEAN countries like Indonesia made the right choice by using local currencies and not the dollar. US has too many times used the dollar as a weapon like sanctions and oppressing countries. It's enough and it's time that countries have to choose their own economic policy and to trade with a country they like.I hope Africa will ditch the dollar too and do business with countries they like so their economy will grow. So Africa.. let's collaborate with Asia!

Not every country does. Some countries operate in unified currency systems (best example being the Euro), and some countries use the currency of another country (for example, Panama uses the US dollar).
I'm Arab American and I encourage this way to all countries to use their own currency and not to depend on the American dollar, i have no trust in the American government since their stance with the apartheid state of Israel though over 67% of the population of the USA want a ceasefire and not supporting Israel
