  • @Smonjirez
    @Smonjirez 9 років тому +19

    You solved the puzzle by scrambling it; that IS random. If you scramble a cube a million times or so, some of the scrambles are bound to be in the 'solved' state at some point. Pure randomness differs from what humans see as being random. Take iTunes for an example. People were complaining it's shuffle-method wasn't random enough because occasionally they would hear roughly the same sequence a few times over, but that's to be expected in a truly random sequence. They fixed it by actually making it LESS random so people would perceive it as "more random".

    I wish Oskar would have made one that looks just like a normal cube without the writing 'Treasure Chest' or any of the fancy jeweled pieces, it would have made it look nicer, feel better in-hand, and if you were storing something valuable in there and somebody found it, they could easily tell what was going on just by it saying 'treasure chest', and could use a solver to solve it.

    I have one but it doesnt have the glittery sides, just regular, and beside the rubix brand rubix cube i have from the 70s, its the same size.
    I store my cube in the pattern “cube in a cube, in a cube” and inside it i have a mini cube in the same pattern. I figured that fits haha!

I've sat here trying to mix one up while watching tv or something so it takes my mind off what I'm doing, otherwise I can come around full circle & accidentally solve it. :D

    maybe a 2x2.
    something rubik's related...
    put a small bottle of cube lube.
    no. id buy a few of these and keep
    all 26 pieces of a 3x3 in them so
    i could do a reverse-compacted 3x3
    that i have to sole like 5 3x3s to
    solve 1 3x3 and see what my best
    time would be.
