@@willieohara4018 cheers mate but got that Lawlers very wrong lol. Really didnt fancy the winner on that ground but there you go, get some right but more wrong.
Good luck with bets. My only comment this time is working out where the Irish horses run at Cheltenham is a lot more difficult than working out where the British horses run keep the videos coming 🐎❤️🐎
Great video, as usual! Took 33s Butch Cassidy......pity there wasn't another horse named The Sundance Kid. We could have had a topical each way double. Keep smiling 😅
@@johngreene347 cheers John and yea maybe if he does well can see that been a name in the pipeline. The Sundance Kid coming to a ptp soon lol. All the best mate and good luck
Hope you had a good Xmas and new year mate. Watched the last couple of vids now and it’s always useful to me because I just don’t have the grasp of (or interest in truth be told haha) the Irish form as you do! I’ve seen a few people now say they can see Lossiemouth reverse the form with CH in March. I’ve got to say I just don’t see it one little bit. CH hadn’t ran for a year and by accounts he was blowing like a gale after the race. He’s got a ton of improvement in him. Especially if he can get one more run in before March. He was in second gear all the way round. Improvement to come. And was good for a lot more than 2.5l anyway! Time will tell but if he gets there he’s a good thing. But a shit price haha. I dont see much worth a punt this weekend but maybe a little bit on Remastered at Sandown in the veterans! P.s have you considered a New Year’s resolution of renaming the channel Cheltenham and fitness whereby you pack the smokes in and do a video blog whilst out running 10k’s??😂😶🌫️
Good luck Steve. HDB looking strong in the novice hurdle division this season but I do think Jasmin brings very strong form into this race. Was deeply impressed by Workahead last week and feel if Jasmin jumps well he’s going to very tough to beat. Hoping LL runs well in the first.
@@Cheltenham-Chat cheers Mark. Yea got loads of nice young horses Henry, really liked Workahead too and was quite taken with Koktail Divin, he looks another cracking prospect. Yea that's the question with Jasmin, the jumping, will have to jump a lot better than that and I'm not sure he will. Happy to be against him at the prices on that basis but like you say jumps well be very tough to beat. All the best Mark and good luck for the weekend.
What did you make of the filly Saint Lucie? She may not have beaten a great deal but looked promising. That's two fillies Mullins has unleashed for the Triumph.
@@johngreene347 yea liked her mate and did throw a bit of change at her at 16/1 with the cashout option. Don't think it was much of a race, the pace didnt look great and she did sweat up which would lead you to wonder about her ability to travel to Cheltenham and not boil over. That might be just her though, we dont know enough about her in that regard. Same race Vauban got beat in on debut for same connections and liked how she went about it 2 out to the line. Dont think we've seen all that much in that division in Ireland and she'd be about top for me so far.
Slightly disappointed to see Ballygunner Castle taken out of that Lawlor's. Was looking forward to seeing what he could do against some of the leading contenders as I think his maiden win at Fairyhouse was a good maiden. Very novicey jumping but the way the loose horse nearly took him out about 3 times, and the way he kept plugging on would like him over 2 and a half. The 2nd was nowhere in a handicap over Christmas but the 4th won going away. Agree there's plenty of value with Butch Cassidy though and I've taken a bit of that 50s. Might be one that I trade out nearer the time but more than happy to have him on-side at that price now. The Novice Chase is a watching race only for me I think. I've got Inthepocket and Ile Atlantique tickets for the Arkle. Not really inclined to get any more involved at this stage but agree with your view in terms of where the market is likely to go. Haven't really had a proper look at the Mares race but Lantry Lady could certainly be interesting if she takes to chasing.
@@adking18 yea totally agree about Ballygunner Castle, hugely promising debut and should improve plenty up in trip. Strangely I guess as he won over 2m there I like him as a Bartlett horse, could be a mile away there, well 1/2 a mile anyway lol, but whatever I agree he's definitely one to follow
@@smoking_cheltenham Yeah I have him in a couple of small stakes multiples for both the Turners and the potato race. I've held off backing him in a single hoping we might get a better idea on which race somewhere down the road. He has an entry next week over 2 again but no Supreme entry as of yet so who knows what Willie's thinking! Perhaps he just needs a bit more time coming out of a tricky race last time out.
Three/ 4 nice races tomorrow Steve no bets for me just ticking along with my ante post betting. Those markets now look awful and can honestly say the NRMB market has nothing for me value wise.Wanted your opinion Steve could you see Croke Park or Dancing City going for the four miler ??? Dancing City i have backed at 12s thought that was short for me now he is one of the worst ante post bets.Wasnt taken by his debut even though he is an improver and a horse i like his guts and tenacity is his strength.Keep the videos coming Steve love them even the wife watches them.😂
@markjefferies435 wow she must really love you mate to sit through my videos🤣. We're looking at a 145 ceiling for the 4 miler so very little chance either of those 2 would get in I'd say. 100% they go Browns all been well. I didnt mind Dancing City's debut, thought he jumped nicely for a 3 miler and he just got tired. He's a very hard horse to get fit and will improve loads for that and from run to run. So yea if you liked him before I'd still like him now. Cheers Mark and all the best
@@smoking_cheltenham 145 ,,, Thanks for that Steve would be interested in a eway bet on Haiti Coleurs the Rebecca Curtis horse for the 3 mile 6 race he looked a dour stayer.

That double of Sir Gino is 9/2 and Majborough 20s. One for consideration with Paddy Power.

Ballyburn 40s for the Brown Advisory/Gold double, The Jukebox Man 80s for the same.
