      @@Timely7 It's basically an upside tree structure, where each node can have children nodes. The way this is solved is by recursively finding the max per each layer which will be two times the number of parent nodes.

      Sounds about right to me. I had a Zoom interview a couple months back for a QA testing job and I was all dressed up in a jacket and tie but the interviewers were in casual clothes. Perhaps it would have been different in person. (I did not get the job.)

      @@maxxar92 And the genetic algorithm he wrote for search-engine optimization was implemented with TD-learning instead of Deep Q-learning like he was told, when really both methods were wrong and he should've just used rasterization and ray-tracing to create a Kaplan's Sniper bot that would automate the entire workflow for him, the results of which he then could have used bootstrap to strap everything together.

    Love this series. This is so random, but I was wondering, such skits/videos can actually help people remember the approach for leetcode problems. Example : Optimal solution for 2 sum. Oh, right use hashmap, Nick said that in that video.
    Such an attempt to make more such content where viewers enjoy the content as well as actually learn a concept/approach. Keep 'em coming !

      @@nicholast I actually did use the hashmap example for a class. We were supposed to link the information in two arrays and call the element from one array by matching user input to the elements of the second array. After looking over the problem and getting a bit confused, I was just scrolling through UA-cam and stumbled on the first interview. After looking up how hashmaps work, I realized that was a perfect was to resolve the problem.

    U can use a queue.
    Enter the root and repeatedly enter the kids of the node that is about to get out.
    And just check the length everytime u are about to start a new generation/level ( u will know when cause u will always remember the length of the last generation)

I don't like to sound like sore looser but I hate how atleast in India people reject exp folks based on 15-30 mins discussion and if they fail to ans even a single question.Here the interviewers want to see your face while not revealing there 's . It sucks big time.

    I still hate recursion because it makes my head hurt trying to think about the process, but I've learned it a little better. I used it for graph traversal.

      The most important thing about recursions is to put the bail out clause - condition that would make it stop and bubble up the result back to the initial caller.
