Well..cat's outta the bag. I had been basically glued to the couch, nursing extreme nausea and fatigue for almost two months, and was tired of being unable to explain why I had been gone.

Congratulations, Whitney!! ❤️ I’m 38 and have a 17 year old son and just had my daughter in April. Having my kids 17 years apart wasn’t something I envisioned, but it has been amazing!!
Any tips?!

@@whitneyhedrickIt’s not always easy, I thought with his age he would understand the circumstances. But he was my only child for 17 years, so he did have moments of feeling left out, especially in the beginning newborn days. So I made sure to always put time aside for just us. He’s pretty open with me, so that really has helped. Over the past 8 months, it has been such a awesome thing to see him and her bond. Once she started recognizing him to where she’d smile and babble at him, it seemed to make him feel closer to her. As far as pregnancy goes, just rest as much as you can. My first pregnancy was so easy, but with my daughter I was legit miserable almost the entire time. I figured it had a lot to do with my age. Backaches, restless legs, food aversions, sickness, just couldn’t catch a break! I hope you start feeling better soon!! Good luck Whitney! I am so happy for you and your husband ❤

Congratulations! 🎉 I had my son at 35 when my 2 girls were already into their pre teen and teen years. They now have the BEST bond with that little boy! My 19 year old loves to take him places, have little sleepovers, etc. Parenting feels so different than it did when I was in my 20’s with 2 little girls, but it’s different in a GOOD way!
I’m not going to lie… I did not enjoy the pregnancy itself. I was so exhausted, but it was 100% worth it.

My oldest is 10 and I just had #3 in October! I recommend a large age gap to everyone now 😂 obviously it’s not as large as what you will be but watching your baby love on your new baby is the absolute best thing in the world ❤Congratulations!!

Congratulations! This is so exciting. I was constantly nauseated when pregnant too but never threw up. Eating was the only remedy. Hoping that you'll get some more energy to get back to some of the routines that help you feel like yourself!

Congratulations. First trimester is rough. I lived on ginger ale and crackers. My oldest is 22 and my youngest is 15. And I’m due in January with this baby. But the pregnancy fatigue is something else. I’m so excited for this chapter tho. So happy for you. You gots this. Take care ❤
