- Scenes recorded on Saturday December 3rd, 2011, of diesel locomotives 4473 & 4486 hauling a tour too Kandos. At that time the section of railway from Charbon colliery junction to Kandos was about to be closed, so this tour was promoted as being the last train to travel to Kandos, however since then the line has been re-opened.

The last time I saw 4473 was behind flying Scotsman and 3801 going to Lithgow, 4473 was a replacement for 5910 which had failed on the day. Because 4473 was behind 01 every time she got to notch 3 or 4 she would cut out which on the 1 in 33 grade interesting, well when the train got to Lithgow 4473 was declared a failure and stayed on the train back to Sydney. Glad she and sister's survived the scrapper's. I hope you found this interesting.✅🇦🇺

Doesn't that line go all the way out to Mudgee?
The old trains on here are better than anything the NSW has purchased in the last decade. Same goes for ferries trams and buses.
