Refine Your Approach to Stock and Crypto Investment: This isn't about merely watching market fluctuations. It's about developing a deep understanding of true value and engaging in comprehensive fundamental analysis. Avoid the pitfalls of impulsive, high-risk trading. Lean on technical analysis, rather than being swayed by short-lived trends. True financial growth comes from making informed, value-driven choices, not just buying low. Elevate your investment journey with a focus on long-term, strategic trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 4.5 B,tc to a decent 27 B,tc in the space of a few months... I took a fundamental analysis class under Rogers in grad school at the University of Alabama in 1985--the only time he taught there. I knew next to nothing about how to value equities, but that experience was a highlite of my life.
Jim has been bearish for a longtime, but I think he knows that there is way too much debt in every sector of life, as well as other weaknesses, and I think a great financial calamity is on the horizon in the coming years. Probably wars too.
I am so grateful Jim came to Tuscaloosa that year, so he will always be a rockstar to me! And I hope Jim that you can still find some good "redneck Alabama beer" (Pabst Blue Ribbon) occasionally over there in Singapore!

Some of the largest financial companies are now offering a Bitcoin ETF. Does Mr. Rodgers believe that the United States government is going to seize the bitcoin in those funds? That would be much more difficult than the gold seizure of 1934. Bitcoin is not a threat to the US dollar at this time. Bitcoin is a store of value and competes much more with real estate and a little bit with gold.

Thanks for the comment Ed and for taking the time to view our content! IMO commodities are very volatile so you have trade them. Uranium for example, did well until 2011 and then went into a long term bear market of 10 years. Oil hit $25 in 2020 then ripped to $125. I think it's important to trade them to really get the maximum benefit.

When you invest in Gold and silver you have the winds of technology working against you. I worked in goldmines in Australia and can see all the innovations and even a slight increase in price bringing countless tons into the market. Also the 40,000 tons of gold worn by indians is gradually being handed down to a younger generation which will put a portion of it into Bitcoin. I like Jim ,but his advice will send you to the poorhouse.

One wonders why Jim even invests. His advice is to begrudgingly accept failed government currencies and the surveillance state that comes with them. Not exactly an optimistic message and last I checked those sorts of environments aren't historically conducive to prosperity or freedom or real markets or opportunities. I mean the guy is Ivy league. I hate to tell him this but if at the top of his new wealth pyramid is government CBDC there's not going to be a treasure chest at the end of that rainbow... unless you are an insider. He may as well just tell us the secret to a better financial future is to accept your plight happily😅 and thus get better privileges in the 15 minute city. Not surprised he was a Soros protege.
