Very nice of you mate. Your team was inspirational in the Euro’s after what happened to Eriksen and everyone respects the Danes because of that tournament.. Surprised about your performance at this World Cup but I’m sure you guys will be back stronger in future tournaments!
I m Greek and fan of dbu since 96..but I ll never seen Denmark plays like yesterday..so disappointing way of playing. Maybe the worst game of dk I ever see.
3:50 So sick of this US VS THEM mentality. You can love more than just one sport. Every Melbourne Victory member I know is also a diehard AFL fan. If you have a problem with that then you're part of the problem. Love soccer, love football, love rugby, love them all if you want
This. I’ve been saying this for years, unfortunately the media in this country does it’s best to divide the population using terms such as “football rivalry” when discussing different sports I’m a devout Richmond tigers fan but I grew up playing FOOTBALL for nearly 2 decades and I love the game, always so disheartening to see this mentality that it’s one or the other. As you rightly said: you can love both, as they are both completely different sports. And as an added bonus, you get footy all year round!!! Win-win 🎉
Soccer is a dud in Australia. It's great for juniors to get great feet skills to transition into Rugby League, true as told. My dad is one, & before WW2 my grandfather played for Ukraine & hated league after being rescued outta a nazi prison camp & put on a ship to Sydney. After a while he fell in love with League & cricket & Soccer was never spoken about
Soccer in terms of people who play the game actually is a very popular in Australia, and is growing in popularity. I’m not suggesting soccer will surpass AFL in Australia, of course not, in terms of spectators and corporate sponsorship, AFL rules supreme.
always easy to spot those who live south of the barassi line, where AFL is popular unlike the rest of the country. Football is the only sport that has people on board across the whole country and its national teams reflects what Australia is really like.
It's much like here in America. The domestic leagues and clubs have their passionate support bases but other sports do get more attention. Here, it's NFL and NBA. However, when the World Cup comes around, it's a different animal.
The Socceroos had lots of support here. Congratulations and respect from the USA. Let's both win and meet in the Quarterfinals. 😎
Yes! Go Team USA see you there!! 🇦🇺🇺🇲
we’ll stomp you yanks
@@user-sl3mx6hs2i I was a huge Robben fan. Especially after his dive penalty knocked out Mexico. 🤣
@iPhone giveaway please stop talking nonsense. It’s the most participated recreational sport and fastest growing sport in the country.
Man even the police were celebrating 0:15
Fair play to those Danish fans who turned up to watch it there too.
This awesome gives me goosebumps! Go Aussies.
Im Danish, but Im absolutely THRILLED that it was Australia who beat us and got through. Congratulations!!
That is very honourable of you!

Danes are wonderful people. Commiserations to you :)

maybe you will be taken seriously once you stop calling it soccer
Angry European spotted
Here they call AFL and Rugby football so it will be even more confising
It's football to this Australian. Australian Rules is just basketball on grass these days.
Foolishness, waking up at 2am to be around flares, alcohol, and barely any space to move this early in the morning.
You must be one sad miserable fark 🤣
Well you must be fun at parties...
In Australia, soccer is not popular actually,,, AFL and cricket are popular sports.. Dont know why they are crazy like that lol
Yeah but everyone gets around the world cup and there's also some dedicated fans, i would've gone if I lived in Melbourne
