I know u mentioned wish. They are suddenly selling a lot of crystal towers and just wanted to know if those were real. I knkw their tarot decks are knock offs just wanting to see if their towers and pendulums are too!
It depends on where you get it from. There are a bunch of different companies on wish. Best way to tell is to go through the reviews
Thank you form mentioning that about China and gemstones! There is such a stigma because there have been fakes but unfortunately there are fakes everywhere. So many stones and minerals are mined in China and get great deals because they are locally mined. You just have to do a little research and ask friends and those you might follow for hints and tips.

Based on the pricing I would definately question weather they are ethical. Also fluorite is faked alot.
Fluorite is faked if you are buying it from the wrong places like China
It isn’t actually faked a lot, but people think it’s faked because they are not familiar with fakes and real

i’ve never gotten the crystal beads from michael’s, but i can tell most of the ones at hobby lobby are fake, specially the quartz/quartz variations (amethyst, rose quartz, etc) which are mostly glass

I went on a hunt for a African Turquoise, either a stone or a necklace/bracelet. I couldn't find ANY stone at all, but the jewelery were around 50-150 dollars. I Found a Mala on WISH of all places for 20 dollars? So i ordered it! I'll see what it's like when it arrives, the seller had 5/5 stars and people seemed very happy with their orderes. I really hope its authentic and as nice as it looked on the picture!

There is no turquoise found in Africa. I believe "African Turquoise" is actually a type of Jasper that may or may not be dyed to resemble Turquoise.
Yes, there are a lot of authentic crystals from China. All of my stones came from China (I'm from southeast asia) and so far they're all authentic and there's a lot of crystal markets there. I buy my crystals from live sellers so I can see and choose the piece I'm buying.

Have you done a video on the difference between genuine citrine and baked amethyst yet? If not that's definitely something people need to know about. The owner of the gem shop in my town didn't even know that her citrine wasn't legit she didn't believe me!

@@lilypoppy1962 so some man made are technically fake but still have property's. Like goldstone has copper in it and copper has healing property's. So not a complete fake. Unlike smelting qaurtz which is glass and glass only and has no property's whatsoever . Hope that helped 😃
Hmm, so tempted to buy some crystals from Shein, but because of all the negative things going on with Shein in the past makes me hesitate (fast fashion and stealing of art of smaller creators)

I always heard as well that real crystals are very cold to the touch and have imperfections. However, when it comes to beads they all look perfect to me, so it is hard to figure out which ones are real crystals beads and which aren't
Yes! Most are likely real, but they do sell a decent amount of fakes!

I also bite or tap the beads on my teeth . To me I can tell plastic that way. For pearls it's a proven way to tell real from fake. Real pearls feel gritty on your teeth.

Try using a lighter and if it melts it’s fake if it doesn’t and u can rub off the black silt then it’s real

I Bought a few things from a place called Mindful Souls im curious if there real cause some are very skeptical i got a laborite wand that seemed fake it didnt have much of the rainbow color. I also got a laborite necklace called a dragonheart it dont seem real because i have forgotten i was wearing it and wore it in the shower for a very long time haha whoops! they actually say to hold underwater for 20mins to cleans everything...they probably shouldnt have that on there if there real?? they do have EMF Reiki Orgone Pyraminds also How do u know those are REAL??

That's not a good test. The only thing the fire test does is determine if it's plastic or not. Glass will pass too. And most fake crystals are glass

Buy from Earthbound. I heard they're selling a mix of real and fake crystals.
I mean, they sell opalite, goldstone and blue goldstone as well as cat's eye, all of which are man-made. All of the other crystals I have purchased from Earthbound are real.

Carnelian can be yellow. It has recently been revealed that a lot of dark red and orange Carnelian are enhanced. Very disappointing to hear

Omg theres no Carnelian color Yellow, Carnelian color ranges from Dark to light orange 😅 I guess its Citrine because of the Yellow omg 😂

I would worry that if things are that cheap that it involves unethical labor practices. Better to buy from a supplier that is helping the industry.
Not always the case but for sure something to be aware of, on shein they are basically selling it slightly above the wholesale cost. If they buy huge bulk amounts they usually get a bigger discount!
They almost 100% are, a lot of crystals are sourced unethically in the first place. Shein uses literal slave labour, as well as child labour. The prices are so low there is no way they don't, wholesale or not and china has less regulations on these things anyway. Buying crystals for spirituality when they have such a history just doesn't sit right with me :/

How do we know whether a fluorite is real or fake? Or whether it is coloured?
I haven’t seen fluorite being faked. It’s cheap and hard to fake and I don’t think they dye, fluorite comes with good colors

@@kelly9379 that’s interesting, maybe smelt Quartz sold as fluorite ? If it is a moving bubble, it can be natural but if the pattern is like small bubbles like in glass it is most likely smelt Quartz or glass. sorry to hear you are having concern with your fluorite

I love Shein though I highly recommend it and I love her videos so I'm not offending her in any way, also it's a necklace that cost a dollar fifty it's still a great necklace even if it's not a real crystal.

Another method is to hold the crystal into a flame 🔥 fake crystal will turn black & real crystals won’t

Why didn't you try burning them like you did with your 5 below haul? Did you just bring the crystal to your cheek and automatically assumed they were genuine?
I didn’t need to I can tell what is fake and what is real without needing to burn them!
So I think a lot of this is fake because as far as like the towers and the shaped rocks such as skulls it is so difficult to get a uniform
Piece after piece after piece...so it makes me think that it's a mold
The best way to test it is to do the scratch test.... I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade but a lot of these are fake....
They actually aren’t if you knew more about fakes you’d know they are real
@@ColdBrewBarbie I am not a geologist but I am an avid rock hounder and test rocks via scratch, gravity, streak, luster, and visual testing. I also carve them so it's a material I am familiar with. it would be near impossible to have the same exact shapes to the inch or replication for shapes like the skulls unless there is a computerized automatic carver that I am unaware of.
I feel like the labradorite in the box looks really fake to me.
Consider that she has the actual item in her hands & you are looking at it through her camera & your screen.
Hey! Labradorite isn’t typically fakes! The only “fakes” I seen are very obviously! You can replicate the flash in a fake!

They're colored contacts. She reminds me of Paula Abdul when she did videos with her natural brown eyes. She should do more videos without colored contracts. Brown eyes are pretty too!
