Jev, you need a calm mind state. We do enjoy you breaking your controller but we also enjoy you pummeling noobs.
Having a calm mind and having legit skill are 2 completely different things. I love Jev, but I have friends and watch people who have that "calm mind" and still suck ass no matter how hard they try. Just be happy with what hes comfortable putting out.

Im so glad jev is slowly getting better at this game and starting to enjoy it more. I do wish he would learn to use his defensive meter more, the wake up attack and air escape are hella useful

As someone who plays these games a lot and has watched you play since Mk X. I’m very happy that you’re beginning to take the steps towards becoming a better and more level headed player. All I can suggest is to use the Breakaway, which is ⬇️ + Right trigger while in a combo. It essentially is an air escape

You have a calm state of mind here is a tip. when your on the ground after a "knockdown " press up TRIANGLE for launcher or up X for a unblockable "wakeup" when you get up off the floor these are very useful, when you are being juggled (in the air combo an enemy is doing) precisely press down and R2 at the same time for an invincible getaway from your attacker.

I actually like really hate playing against scorpion too but one guy that I played against really helped me out and all he said was that basically all of scorpions combos that start strings end with an overhead so just make sure to block high at the end of his combos

You can straight up duck some projectiles so you won't take any damage to them. That Sonya chipping you out could've easily been punished by ducking, *NOT* crouch blocking, and walking towards her slowly. It's easy to bait certain moves from characters like that as well!
Just remember that sonya's and pretty much everyone else's projectiles are highs. You can just crouch them without taking chip damage rather than blocking every single one
