Hey thank you so much for this video, I have been looking everywhere for videos of Bonnevilles with some adv styled top box and this was the only one, plus it is very informative. I have a 2010 Bonny and I already mounted a Givi 46L Riviera top case, which has a very modern look that does not really fit with the rest of my bike which has a lot of custom cafe racer/industrial looking parts. The top box is very wide, I believe is as wide as your 55L Alaska, but with much less storage space. It just looks so big and bulky and out of context for me on the Bonny. If it was for me I'd go with no top box at all, nevertheless I need one, otherwise my pillon just won't ride with me without a backrest of some sort; plus I must admit that it is very handy. I am looking to get a smaller rugged top box, which looking at your video might look definitely better. Either a Givi Outback Trekker 42L, an Alaska 44L or go cheap and get one of those aliexpress aluminium ones with double locks with 45L capacity. Have you had the chance to compare them? Which one would you reccomend in that case? Thanks a lot for the content again, you got a great touring Bonneville on your hands! Cheers :)
But the original Bonneville rack has only 3,5 kg carrying capacity. And the top case you installed on it has twice the weight at least. Did you make a longer trip with this setup? How did it cope? All fine?
I haven't had issues with the top case or the rack. The rack seems to be fairly sturdy, attached by four bolts to the mounting rail, which is itself mounted directly to the frame. I'm of the opinion that Triumph intentionally sets lower weight limits in order to protect themselves from lawsuits that might arise from someone seriously overloading the rack. Kind of like how they state that a motorcycle that has any kind of accessory attached to it should never be ridden over 130kph.
As someone who hasn't seen Hololive but only aware of it, I never thought I'd come across them while looking for information about Triumph. 🤣 I was worried that the 3 boxes would look odd in proportion to Bonneville, but it doesn't look bad from the video.
This is absolutely looking cool on your bike! I hope it will be on my KTM 390 Adventure too. Thanks for your video. Ride safe! Greetings from The Netherlands.
Do the cases sit on the outer part of the exhaust? Reason I ask, I have British Customs slip on cones and the cones point upward maybe an inch, inch and half. Like the pipes on a Truxton. I was concerned the cones would hit the bottom of the cases. Looking forward to what you think. Thanks.
Hi , been looking at Givi panniers for my T120. You ever take a pillion on the back ?. If so, any issues with the panniers ..ie enough leg room for the passenger.? Thanks .
Tradotto dal sito DeepL Ciao e grazie per aver guardato! In realtà non si tratta di una cassetta degli attrezzi, ma della serratura a U da 270 mm di Triumph (codice A9810023) e del suo supporto (codice A9810023).
I guess you can also switch the panniers on the opposite side of each other and then they will open in the other direction from the front instead from the back of the bike :)

I haven't had a pillion but I have sat on the rear seat and I have no issues with my legs hitting the boxes, and I'm only about 5'2" (157cm)
Cool video can you tell me what the overall width is with the side cases on please
Overall width with the sidecases is about 37in/98cm.
with the top case alone is it easy to filter lanes?
Yes, since the top case is still narrower than the stock handlebars the bike has.
What rear support did you use to install the givi 56 liter alaska top case?
I have the Givi E251 Universal Monokey Plate attached to the Triumph Black Rear Grab Rail and Rack (A9758031).
Ciao, possibile avere informazioni sul box che montato sul vano motore porta attrezzi quello a destra della bandiera inglese.
grazie mille

Oh my god. Is that sticker Watson from Hololive?
Yes it is! I also have a few more Hololive decals on the saddlebags and top case.
That case looks way too big for my taste, maybe the 44 litre model would be a better fit.
