I will have the same side- and topcases configuration on my new KTM 390 Adventure (MY2022), but have to wait for delivery in a few weeks. Also waiting to be able to order the backrest (still not available). But already very excited. Greetings from The Netherlands.
I was expecting the max weight to be something like 35 to 40 lbs, but I guess 22 lbs isn't too shabby. If you put 2 gallons of whole milk on there, you'd still have a little under 5 lbs left to reach max weight.

Do you know where that barrel could be bought? I got some from triumph but it doesn't have the treaded part to bolt on case
I think they come with the locks you can order from Givi. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think Triumph's adventure hard cases are rebranded Givis.

Does it fit a full face helmet?
My Shoei RF-1400 fits with plenty of room to spare. Givi's brochure says it can fit two modular helmets.
