Received my Camshield today for the 2-500. First impressions are good, i was worried the zoom would be awkward but it seems fine. I recommend using Fabsil or similar on the drawstring "sock" for long term water repellence.

Hi, I have purchased the camshield for the Sony 100-400 and I cannot put the lens hood on so that it is collected in short mode. The camshield comes without any mounting diagram.
What about the FUJI 100-400?

this lens is ofcourse very hight on our wish list, but it has been very difficult to find any on stock recently, but for sur we will do it as soon as we can...
@@SuperTragopan I got one of the first batch luckily but still looking for something to protect it. Currently using a home made solution till something better comes out

Great that you are advertising tragopan.Good quality hide. It,s a shame they have no stock of anything. Just be aware in the UK on a V6 hide you will have to pay import vat £36.98 Customs duty £19.81 clearance fee £12 on top of the cost from Tragopan.
Hi Eust, we have been fighting with our factory to get products made as quick as possible since this spring, we are suffering of the same situation as many other, lack of raw material, lack of manpower, difficulties on shipment....everything will be back to normality by the end of August. We will receive some good before end of July to cover all our back orders..... Regarding custom tax and vat, please note that when you will order any item from UK, you won't be charge with the french VAT (minus 20%), for the custom duty and clearance fee please complain to your gouvernement:-)...the same system apply in Norway and Switzerland...other non EU country....
My apologies. I didn't mean to shine a bad light on to Tragopan. only to inform UK buyers. The people at Tragopan are vary helpful & quick to reply to any requests. I am over the moon with the V6 hide, which I purchased a few months. Its design is brilliant & very versatile. The import costs that my government & others add is worth paying, to get a quality, well designed product.
