Leman's "Father?" gets me every time. He hasn't seen his father in 10000 years. The last time he saw him, he was dying, nearly dead, and he went off in search of some way to save him. He may even have given up hope that he might ever see him again. Then there is a light, a sudden burst of hope. Daemons and traitors are reduced to ash. The Galaxy is renewed. And Leman stands before a man he once despised, who once dared to place himself on a Pedistal comparing himself to the Father Leman lost, a man who Leman KNEW was not him, because he had none of the power, grace and glory of the Emperor. And that power, the glory and the grace, it's all there. I think he broke a little, at that moment.
Look closely at the galaxy picture. You can see a large light coming from the Eye of Terror. And you can see a correspondingly smaller light coming from Terra. TTS is no mere parody. The amount of detail that goes into this series is beyond staggering.

There's, so much behind this, the music, the metaphysics behind such a story, and in the stories surrounding this story in the real world, and everyone who felt that they saw something special when it actually happened. Just imagine from a Guardsman perspective fight a new Ork WAAAGH, they’re probably stuck in a trench watching as another wave of green-skinned monsters charging down on their position, probably filled with despair, dread, fear, and regret when all of a sudden this happens. A light like never before filling each and every Guardsmen with new felling of hope and determination. Gotta say the forces of the Imperium probably made greater headway in their efforts that day than ever before in the past few millennium.
Not inaccurate. There is some older lore that heavily implies Big E was Jesus. Or the mythology around him was based on Big E. The implications being that one of the reasons Big E was so militantly anti-religious was not only because faith does, to an extent, empower the chaos gods, but also because he had tried to use it to unify humanity in the past and it backfired horribly. Like... imagine trying to create a philosophy to unit mankind, only to see people use it as yet another excuse to butcher people over trivial differences and yet another reason to divide mankind. And they're doing it in your name, in a complete anathema to everything you intended for it to be. It would likely be fairly traumatizing.
And for the first time in the last 10,000 years, Humanity felt hope. Men, women, children, laboring in factories, on fields of crop. Surviving hot desert suns or humid Catachan jungles. In fields of snow, in fields of ash. As the world was rocked with shell after shell of artillery. Humanity has felt hope, a hope that maybe, in the far distant future, there will be no war, only peace, progress, and happiness.
Right as the axe came down to end the life of its target and add another skull for the skull throne it happened. A flash of light pulsed outwarfs blasting the daemon back. As it surged through the wrap it reached the realms of the Dark Gods and blasted them back. The Eye of Terror twisted and pulsed as the light surged out. The corrupted of Chaos burned their souls and body burning in holy flame. Humanity all across the worlds felt a strange feeling of warmth. The Xenos races felt a sudden shock with emotions mixed based on who saw it. As the light reached its apex it touched a vast, powerful, and ancient mind that recoiled in sudden shock. The Emperor of Mankind had return.
2:36. I am pretty sure that is the Battle of Cadia being interrupted by Star-Fyodperor being born and the Chaos Gods effectively canceling the 13th Black Crusade by recalling all their forces.

So wait, only now after having watched this scene so many times I get Dominique's "Happy New Year, pal" and why we are shown the specific parties of being in the galaxy properly. It's the year M42.000 now. The Star Child enters Fyodor and the resulting blast stops the 13th Black Crusade before it has even begun, boosts the defenders of Cadia so it never fell meaning no Great Rift. We saw Typhus and Lucius being invited to the 13th by Abaddon and nothing ever came from that because the daemons and Chaos Space Marines that were supposed to take part in it were blasted by the Star Child.

The Eye of Terror was created by the Eldar’s greatest folly and the birth of a chaos god, which would drag the galaxy into anarchy. It’s poetic then, that it would be momentarily sealed by the rebirth of a psychic life form on par with a Chaos God, a being created by Humanity’s greatest victory: Breaking the cycle of Precursor race self-destruction. The Necron destroyed their precursors, then destroyed themselves after making the Ctan. The Eldar destroyed themselves after creating Slaneesh. But Humanity, who had been on a similar path after the “death” of the Emperor, now had a chance with their rebirth.
Same here and also the emotion that it has when he said "father" is so touching because at the end of the day despite being looked up as Demigods, the Primarchs are all just kids at heart who just wants to be acknowledged and praised by their dad.

Actually I prefer Terra is so bright that it dwarf the Eye of Terror. Since Earth is located on the right of the Eye
@@longwlenguyen4214 Actually Cadia was.
I don’t know why, but this clip, followed by the dialogue and the music, made me felt really happy but at the same time, really emotional.
On the dawn of the 42nd Millenium, the galaxy trembled in fear and joy as hope returned to mankind.
Can you imagine if we ever saw something like this realised and conceptualized after a tight and well done 40K cinematic universe?

This is dumb. So stupid. Why is this scene still making me cry like a little Girl?
"Father?"
Because of one or more of the following :
The music.
The perfect visuals.
The huge buildup.
The implications.
The grasp of the scale.
The possibilities.
But maybe more important, the realisation that this man is fictional, and you will not have the opportunity to die for him.
@@weeaboobaguette3943 No, he is certainly fictional, but the concepts he embodies are not, but, those concepts are too precious to die for, for something so worthy we need to live for.
Because from all the sisters hope is the one with that power
@@commandermcnash5137 As an old saying goes, 'it is easier to die for someone, than to live with them.'
This scene really encapsulates that idea no amount of infinite darkness can contain even the smallest light. No matter how dark or grimdark things may get, a single light can still come and wash away the negativity, nihilism, and depression and replace it with positivity, hope, and joy.
This scene is way more heartfelt and badass then a scene in a parody series about a 10 foot tall skeleton with a Text to speech device should be. This is why TTS is so good
That must have been one hell of a spectacle for all those Navigators out there... Maybe they're the only ones who truly SAW what happened. The Emperor's holy presence flooding the Immaterium and leaking into the waking world for a moment, bathing everything in His glory.

"Father?" With the beautiful music, the sheer amazing story leading up and all of it together, I always burst into tears at this scene, without fail.
Now this is just what made me extra love TTS series, just fine example how to make two most hated and annoying characters into two favotire ones in just 3 minutes, that's brilliant writing and execution.
3 minutes and 27 seconds of some of the finest examples of how fan fiction can actually elevate an existing story to strange but truly wonderful heights.
Edit: I return, knowing we may not see another moment like this… for a long, long time.
I returned here too, and I think I'll do it again too. There's, so much behind this, the music, the metaphysics behind such a story, and in the stories surrounding this story in the real world, and everyone who felt that they saw something special when it actually happened.
Its something ineffable. I didn't return here for a dose of hope. I returned, in order to see what set me on my own way to the hope I realised, and what all of that encompasses.

So does Cadia not fall in TTS canon? Cadia fell in 999M41, and it resulted in the eye of Terror tearing open wider. But in this you still see the eye as normal.

VULKAN LIVES *STOMP STOMP*
Just imagine from a Guardsman perspective fight a new Ork WAAAGH, they’re probably stuck in a trench watching as another wave of green-skinned monsters charging down on their position, probably filled with despair, dread, fear, and regret when all of a sudden this happens. A light like never before filling each and every Guardsmen with new felling of hope and determination. Gotta say the forces of the Imperium probably made greater headway in their efforts that day than ever before in the past few millennium.
As someone who’s relatively new to Warhammer 40k, I can only assume this was the second coming of Jesus Christ but with guns
Oh yes.
Space Jesus with a little more gold, atheism and psychic power.
So yes, second coming of Christ
More like the third but eh
And for the first time in the last 10,000 years, Humanity felt hope. Men, women, children, laboring in factories, on fields of crop. Surviving hot desert suns or humid Catachan jungles. In fields of snow, in fields of ash. As the world was rocked with shell after shell of artillery. Humanity has felt hope, a hope that maybe, in the far distant future, there will be no war, only peace, progress, and happiness.
"Hey! Hey, Fyodor! Have a happy new year, pal."

The Eye of Terror was created by the Eldar’s greatest folly and the birth of a chaos god, which would drag the galaxy into anarchy.
It’s poetic then, that it would be momentarily sealed by the rebirth of a psychic life form on par with a Chaos God, a being created by Humanity’s greatest victory:
Breaking the cycle of Precursor race self-destruction.
The Necron destroyed their precursors, then destroyed themselves after making the Ctan.
The Eldar destroyed themselves after creating Slaneesh.
