It has been well worth the wait, I still remember going to IU games in Bloomington from Northeast of the Metro, having to endure a painful drive through the construction, but it’ll be well worth the wait.
I am old enough to remember life before I 69 was finished north of Fort Wayne. I have lived and worked along the northern 60 miles most of my life. I want to road trip to S W Indiana now
I want to thank every one of the Governors whom we see in this video and a few more who would have loved to have seen this day, the many state legislators from Southern Indiana who have advocated and steadfastly supported this construction for decades, and the entire I-DOT team for this moment. Today we have a completed a critical connection of Southwest Indiana to the rest of the state. Today, from every direction, we are now truly the Crossroads of America.
Thanks for all of the hard work that went into getting this done. I'm not a Hoosier, but have traveled on SR 37 south of Indy many times, and this is a huge improvement!
Great job! Very impressive and so thankful this is now done. Can we fix 465 left side entrances ramps between I65 and Emerson. This has to be the most dangerous section of 465.
From WC, does anyone else wonder how states like Indiana seem to get projects done on time and on budget? They are beautiful projects that make sense as you travel along their roads as I have traveled through Indiana many times and really like traveling through the state! I think the Big Industrial states need to come to Indiana and learn from them how they do it!!!

feed us hoosiers corn and we got you covered
Will this channel also cover the construction of the approach to the new Ohio River bridge?
No, there is a seperate channel for that - search I-69 ohio river crossing
They still have to connect I 69 with the Kentucky portion of I 69
It's going to take 10 years to build the Ohio River crossing M
I am pleasantly surprised they actually implemented some form of roundabouts.
