To see you making this video with your sweet, healthy newborn baby is so incredible! I remember my heart breaking for you when you went through your miscarriage, as I was also newly pregnant during that time, so to see the little nod from God with the rainbow while you were in the NICU was truly so special. As a former NICU nurse, I know the strength it takes to go through that, and I am so sure that caring for you, Brandon, and baby Wells was probably such a blessing to that staff as well! Enjoy the sweet newborn bubble; my hubby & I are also in it with our sweet son Grayson right now!!💙
I am so thankful for your story and your beautiful baby!! My daughter delivered early and was in the NICU for a month last year. Stressful, but so many blessings! My mom, who passed away a few weeks ago knitted hats for preemie babies through her church for years!! I couldn't begin to count how many she donated!! Life's blessings.❤❤
Welcome baby Wells!!! So happy you are here and safe with your wonderful parents! I was a NICU cuddler for years, then worked in the NICU! So amazing, humbling, sad and beautiful place. Babies truly are a gift!!
Allison and Brandon, And Wells, your video is absolutely stunning, the choice of words that you chose to share. Your birth experience was so positive there was no negativity in it whatsoever, and those words only came from God, the father, who has a plan for that little boy Wells. your son has a testimony that you are sharing at this moment and you were given God all the glory and tribute because he is godfather and he did knit that baby within your womb Allison because he knows everything about Wells and what is gonna happen every day of this little boy’s life, and I know that you and Brandon will nurture him and the ways that God has planned for him and you will God his steps with God‘s hand. Let those tears flow from your beautiful eyes Allison because they are being caught in a beautiful bottle in heaven as prayers and God is collecting those tears as your prayers for your son, and those tears were shed during your labor and delivery and in the Nicu🙏🏼
You know we've been waiting for this video! So happy you both are okay and now home. This is gonna be such a memorable fall! 🍁🍂 I can't wait to see how you all grow in God and create an even more beautiful and loving home. Once again congratulations on baby boy Wells. What a blessing 💙🩵💙🩵💙🥰☺️🥹🥹😊
I was at the nicu all of July as well of 2019 with my mom. My baby sister was born early as well. It brought me to tears when you said the days were so long I hated being there but I knew I was the only one there to keep my mom in positive mindset I can’t imagine what mothers go through it is very tiring I would quietly cry in the bathroom I couldn’t let my mom see me. I had to be strong for her because god only knows what she was going through having to see her baby there… I’m so happy you’re finally home and baby is growing 🥹💕 can’t wait to see your videos to come in the meantime take your time and enjoy your mom era 🩷
I so relate with ya...the emotional rollercoaster ride is what I call it!! I was on bed rest for 3 months w twin boys and delivered them at 27 weeks! They spent 4 months in NICU at St Mary's hospital until they finally were able to come home! They only had a 5 percent chance of surviving but my prayers n the All Mighty was on our side... they are 17 now and striving!! Wish ya a healthy recovery and the joy of your new blessing... embrace every moment 💜
I’ve followed you since you lived in your apartment, a newlywed, and still working at Disney. To watch you sit there holding your baby is just so wonderful! I recalled the vlogs of you guys just building the house, then how you beautifully cultivated a home within those walls…. Congrats to the Bickerstaffs and praise God for His goodness! 🫶🏼✨
Congratulations 🎉and welcome baby Wells !!! So excited and happy your are here and safe with your wonderful parents. Thank you Allison for sharing your story with us . I had the same situation like you and my son was born 6 weeks earlier and was very small and didn’t know how to suck. Had to pump my breast every other feeding had to be through a tub and also a small bottle. But thank God he doubled his weight in one month. I’m glad to know your home with your family. God bless you all and can’t wait to see another video. Tfs God bless 🙏❤️🙏
I am always in awe of your ability to focus on the faith of your story and not the fear. Your faith and trust in your higher power that all things work out for the glory of Him is beautiful and inspiring. ❤❤❤
You truly are so inspiring and a real example of someone who has such a strong, beautiful faith! You never let anything bring you down and you always find the beauty in every single thing. Brandon, your son and Palmer are sooo blessed to have you in their lives! You are and will be the most amazing mom ever! 🥰🙏🏼
God gave you this beautiful perfect baby that He entrusts you with. What a beautiful gift. GOD literally gave him to you and knows you will be his wonderful mother. You are doing awesome Allison ❤
You've brought a wonderful son into the world Allison, seeing him cozy in your arms is so precious. Your midlife sounds like a sweetheart too. Thank you for sharing the birth of the newest Bickerstaff member, welcome to the world Wells💙!
Congratulations on your beautiful family 🤍 you radiate kindness Allison, I hope you know people all around the world are touched by your videos. Thank you for letting us in on this beautiful story.
My twins were premature and spent a time in the NICU. We had the best doctors and nurses. We always say they were our miracle babies. There were 5 sets of twins born at the hospital that day. So, the NICU was busy.
Congratulations and welcome baby Wells! I tear up as I have watched God's love wrap around you, and bless you with this little one. I have watched you for several years now, and know it has been a desire of your hearts to become parents, and what incredible parents you will be.. God has great plans for you through the experiences HE have broguht you through... Hugs.
I also gave birth at 34 weeks and 4 days. My daughter was only in the nicu for 8 days. It was a difficult experience but also a blessing in disguise. The nurses were all so kind and supportive. We learned so much and felt more prepared for when she did come home with us. My little girl is going to be 2 months tomorrow, she’s growing and is very healthy and strong! Just know it gets easier from here!❤ congratulations and I wish you the best beautiful mama🥰🙌🏽
I know you will be processing all of your incredible experience…..for a long time to come. God Bless you and your little miracle….keep soaking up all the love 💗
Congratulations and welcome, baby Wells. Your story brought back a lot of memories, since both of my boys were early. It helped me remember how amazing NICU nurses are - what a gift and a calling. Now my boys are all grown up - one in college and one just graduated. Those early days are just memories. Thank you for helping me remember what a gift children are!
You are one of the sweetest person I come back to watch. I am also a NICU Mama, I know how you feel, my son was born at 32 weeks. It will be alright, take care of yourself too. Wishing you the best and loads of love to baby and you
My son is almost two and I still cry when I think about his birth experience. It was an unplanned c-section after being induced and in labor for 26 hours. I am blown away by your positivity. Your baby is in good hands. Congratulations, you got this mama! ❤
Congratulations on your new baby boy! I'm so glad that he is healthy & happy. I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant & it's so comforting to watch your pregnancy journey. Thank you for sharing ❤
I am glad you are back home with the fam. I am so grateful for this video because even if we don’t want to think about the ‘bad’, it can happen, and how you handle it is so important ❤️ Welcome to the world, Wells !
You were so blessed to be able to stay with him in NICU. My son was 1 pound 7 ounces stayed in NICU for 115 days. Now he is 18 and strong. Wells will be strong and 18 before you know it! Enjoy all the moments, good, bad and ugly. It flies by so quickly. May God bless you and your beautiful family!
I am crying again listening your story. Not sure how many times you said ‚thankful’ word but I am so happy for you and you cute family. Amazing and wild adventure 🩵
This video brought me happy tears. So happy you two are home and healthy too❤️ my baby was born at 31 weeks and I remember it being the toughest time being in the NICU for 1 month seeing my baby in all these wires but now looking back it was a beautiful journey. I appreciate all of the nicu nurses so much they were helping me through that tough time. God bless your family 🥹💙
Awww, I’m so glad baby is home!!! ❤️ I gave birth at 34 weeks and and 3 days, baby was in the NICU for 5 days and I had such a hard time with not being able to bring baby home right away. While I still get emotional thinking about it, we honestly were so blessed that things went as well as they did and wouldn’t change anything because of how happy and healthy she has been 💕 Cherish every moment with your baby, I can’t get over how quick it has been going!!
I’m a new mom also, baby girl is now 3 months. I had been praying for your family for the past moth feeling like you had probably gotten to meet your baby boy! So thankful he is happy and healthy. You’re doing great Mama!!!
Wow, I had no idea that you were going through so much. I'm so thankful for your honesty about the highs & lows. My first baby experience was a little scary as well. But she's everything I prayed for. I know Wells is blessed with you two as his parents & the beautiful life you're going to give him!
You are glowing, wow what a testimony, so thrilled you are all home safe and healthy, your story is an amazing example of Gods plan not ours 💗🙏🏼 praying you have the best family time at home now and just enjoy the journey with Wells 💙💙
I teared up with the beauty you’ve described in your journey. Little Wells is so lucky to have you and Brandon for parents. May God continue to bless your beautiful family!
I am so truly happy for you and Brandon. How wonderful to be home with your new baby son. I am sorry Wells brining was a rocky start. The good news is with parents like you and Brandon and your support system he is destined to have a beautiful happy loving life. God bless the Bickerstaff family!
Allison I can totally relate to your experience. My daughter was also a 34 weeker. She spent many days in nicu as well. She is now grown. Sending love and best wishes to you all. ❤
Allison in 1975 I Was Born in one hospital with cerebral palsy and I was rushed into another hospital for treatment in the nicu area my mom was not able to see me for a while. 😢😢 Keep in mind that I was full term and c-section was not considered common in those days. I was a transverse breech which means I came out butt first and the umbilical cord was around my neck 😢😢. So I had lost oxygen to my brain causing me to have cerebral palsy. I am so grateful that Wells is alive today and doing fine. I promise you that you will have a special friend in Detroit Michigan praying for your family daily. Today at 49 nearly fifty years old now I have found peace with the trauma of being born with my cerebral palsy and the people who had mocked and ridicule me for years. I am grateful for my savior Jesus Christ and his love for dying on the cross for my sinful nature. Enjoy the beautiful life that you are blessed to be holding in your arms ❤ God bless you and your family Eric
The people that mocked you Will be dealt with Eric There's some very mean, uneducated Spiteful people in the world with no morals or respect.. My daughter is severely disabled So I totally understand where you are coming from.. Hope your having a great day From 1 stranger to another From the uk 🇬🇧
Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy! You and Brandon will be amazing parents😊 and Palmer will be a wonderful big brother! I’m so happy that you are all doing well and are finally enjoying the comfort of your home.
Wells is absolutely precious! My son was born six weeks early and spent time in the NICU as well. He is now 24 years old! You will be an amazing mom! We are truly blessed! Love and prayers❣️🙏🏻
You did very well holding it together to talk about your story. This Grandma didn't though. I heard the beginning of the video music and seeing you holding your precious Wells; the tears started to flow. He is such a perfect blessing. I am so very happy for you, Brandon and Palmer.
Allison your sweet baby boy is such a gift from Our Father, The Lord is watching and caring for both your needs, putting wonderful people in your path that could help and direct you in your healing process. Congratulations to you and Brandon on this precious little one.. You are precious and will be a beautiful Mommy, and Brandon a wonderfulDaddy!! We serve A Mighty God.. Love to you three!!!❤❤❤❤😘💕🕒🕞
I was born earlier and tiny tiny I could , fill the palms of a hand . Is such a blessing to see you both with your sweet baby .Every experience as a new mom , make us re born also as souls , holding in arms what we felt inside a little piece of our creation. How wonderful. You’ll see by watching him every minute will be magical, and the magic will endure forever as we will be their parents forever. So happy everything went well across all those learnings you talked about . Many more infinite blessings to come .🧚😇💐
Welcome home Wells and congrats to you, Brandon, and your family! My little one was delivered at 30 weeks and we spent about 2 months in the NICU. He turns one this month and he is thriving. Hope you are recovering well and that little Wells continues to thrive and grow. 💙
Blessings to you, Brandon and Wells. He had a little of a rough start. Your faith, kindness and nurturing shines as your little one gets stronger and bigger each day. I was born at 8 months. I weighed 4 pounds. My Mom said I just slept. She had to wake me to feed. Many, many moons ago. Such a beautiful family!🍼👼
My Father was a beloved Pediatrician. When I was a young child, there were a couple of times when he took me with him for his ‘rounds’ in the hospital. I remember standing behind the glass watching my Father check his premie patients. The babies (& medical staff) on that floor awed me! And now Allison, hearing you share pieces of your experience,… it is you who has me awed! ~Thanking God that the 3 of you are home, together, & well! My prayers for the precious 3 of you are on-flowing! ✨🩵✨
So unbelievably happy for your family!! I've been following you since 2018 and to see your journey to motherhood has been nothing short of magical and inspiring. Can't wait for all the baby content with Wells now! 💛
Allison I can’t imagine the mix of emotions that you have gone through this last month!! Having a baby is such a life changing experience, and on top of that going through a nicu stay is a lot to take in! I am so glad you’re staying positive though all of this, I can tell that being rooted in your faith has been so fundamental to feeling a sense of peace about everything! And the most important thing is that you and wells are healthy!! I actually watched this video while I was nursing my newborn at 2am haha :) I find it so fun to watch other moms with children the same age! I am so excited as you discover the joys of mother’s hood and to walk along this journey with you!! Biggest blessings to you and your little family!
Ahh Allison!! I am so happy for you and so proud!! You are such an amazing mom to wells and it’s so sweet to see you in this season. You are such a light and I love how you share your day to day life. Thank you for being so open and vulnerable with us and it’s so fun to see you film videos. I can’t wait to your fall content and I know it’ll be the best season yet. Ilysm and I hope you’re having an amazing day 💕
Glad you are all ok. My daughter gave birth to twins at 31 weeks. She had been in the hospital since 25 weeks in and out of labor. They were 3.5 pounds each a boy and a girl. 2.20.2020. Born 2 minutes apart by Emergency C because the L&D nurse was not listening to her...at all. Spent 6 weeks at Ronald McDonald's house with her during Covid came home 2 days before Easter that year from upstate NY to Coastal NC. Very frightening. Just so happy we made it and now they are 4. She is a single mom. Focus on your baby and your health every pregnancy and every birth is different some scary some not so much. All Beautiful in its own way. Your son is beautiful 💙 Continued prayers and Blessings
I had placenta previa and acreta with my baby last year. I spent more than a month in the hospital over 3 stays for the same symptoms you had. After all that, our baby also spent a few weeks in the NICU. I had been on light duty for months before that. I didn't get the cute pregnancy I wanted, shopping at Target with my belly poking out or chilling by the pool. It was a hard year. So I get how you feel. It's been nearly a year and I'm still remembering some of the things I went through. Don't rush yourself to be "okay." It takes time.
Welcome back! I missed you so much! I really enjoy watching your videos because you're so genuine, caring, honest and true to yourself 🤍 Love being part of your day to day life! You're my role model, and I look up to you so much 🥹 You always strive to provide us with the best content 💙 So glad both you and Wells are healthy!
Oh Allison, I'm so thankful baby Wells is here! Congratulations to you and Brandon for your beautiful and healthy son. You have such a special way of expressing your thoughts and emotions with your viewers. I can feel the overwhelming joy as you speak about now being a mother. God is so good and I'm thankful you are all cozy, snug, and healthy back at home. May God bless your little family with all His goodness everyday.
What an absolute blessing. I’m so happy for you, Allison! I admire your ability to see the beauty in every situation and pray for continued peace & joy. I am standing with you that the best is yet to come 💙
Thank you for the update! It’s wonderful seeing you hold your sweet baby boy in your arms. Each day he will grow and grow into the special young man that God has called him to be. 🎉❤ Congratulations 🎉
I'm so happy to see you and everyone so happy and healthy, welcome baby Wells 👶 👩🍼 🌞 💙 I was a preemie, born at 2lbs and not expected to survive but here I am now; he will do wonders. My dad always said "you were born fighting, " and so will Wells. Remember to not push yourself and guilt yourself around breastfeeding, fed is best 💛 I also had a csection with my second birth because she was transverse, birth never goes according to plan but your perspective and positivity around something that was heavy to endure is truly a testament.
Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful son. Both my sons were born early, my first at 34 weeks. We were blessed that he was healthy and didn’t need to stay in the NICU. My second son was born at 27 weeks and stayed in the NICU for 3 months. His team of nurses and doctors were amazing and took care of him like he was their own, especially since we could not stay with him 24/7. Yes it was very hard to not be there with him. They are now 25 and 20 and very healthy and are my greatest joys. I am happy for you all. You are a beautiful family
Congratulations to you and your family Allison. Baby Wells is precious. My oldest son was a premature baby and is now a young man. He grew up with no health problems and has been doing well. As your son will also do well and do great things. Blessings to you all.🙏
So incredibly grateful everyone is home and healthy and recovering. I too had a preemie baby... The whole thing was traumatic. But the Lord brought healing and perspective that only he can give. Bless you on your journey.
I just wanted to send love, support, and kindness, as both an Ob and a mother who has experienced pregnancy & birth complications. Congratulations on your beautiful child and thank you for sharing your experiences.
Thank you for sharing Allison! As a fellow mama of a NICU baby, I can relate and understand some of these emotions. I found speaking to a therapist to be extremely helpful as I also had to do a lot of processing of my birth experience and making peace with the differences between expectations and what actually happened. I learned that I don’t have to be happy about my birth experience but I can accept it. It brought me my amazing boy to whom I am a proud mama! Also, get a deep freezer for all of the milk! I donated through a company called Ni-Q and had a great experience with it. Best wishes and love to your family ❤
I got so emotional watching the intro. I have 2 boys and let me tell you…they are amazing little sweethearts and love me so much. Im so glad all went well! You were and still are in my thoughts and prayers ❤ God bless you on this amazing journey. It truly is going to be the best part of your life
Congratulations on your precious baby!! I had my baby at 26 weeks. We spent a lot of time in NICU. I was the same. I knew nothing about what was about to happen, but I was so thankful for our precious miracle boy and all of the doctors and nurses and everyone that comes with the NICU. I totally agree. It was like a learning experience to see what went on in a NICU. Definitely understand your emotions so I can remember having ups and downs because it wasn't the way we thought it would be. Our son was so tiny and hooked up to lots of tubes. It was very scary. Yes now a health y 6 ft tall young man just turned 21 years old
Congratulations on your sweet little boy. ❤ I was born at 28 weeks. The fact that you were able to stay with him is so amazing. I’m so glad that was your experience. A family member had what sounds like a very similar experience at 36 weeks at the beginning of the year and they are all recovered and thriving now. Wishing you the best. 🩵
So happy for you guys. Well’s is a blessing from God. Brandon, Wells and you are such a beautiful and amazing family. Keeping you in my prayers always. ❤
I'm crying 😢 I'm so happy for you and your new beautiful family , I've been following you for years and I'm not one to really comment on videos but this is so special and you guys will be amazing parents and God bless you
so glad you are all home and safe. this brought back so many memories. my granddaughter was born early at 2 lbs. she was in NICU from august to november. we learned so much about NICU. i made these fabric hearts that were then washed at the hospital. the mom and dads would put the hearts on their chests and then they would lay them with the babies so they could smell their parents. i also made these little scrap book pages that the nurses would put the babies foot prints or hand prints on with each month seasonal theme. we took meals to our kids every wednesday (it was a 4 hr one way trip) so that they could have something fresh from home. these are some ideas of things one can do for those in the NICU. we as well as our kids are so very thankful for the wonderful staff our granddaughter had. she will be 6 this month and is smart as a whip and our pride and joy.
Allison, you are truly such a bright light in this world! ☀️ 🌎 Your words are so beautiful, gentle and calming! I am so beyond happy for you and your family! 🩷 I'm in my second trimester and you bring me so much comfort and peace! Wells is beautiful! Congratulations to you and Brandon. Sending you and your beautiful little family so much love and light. 💛

I was a NICU nurse for 20 years. So happy that he is home and healthy 🩵 Enjoy the beauty of your time together!
You are glowing, wow what a testimony, so thrilled you are all home safe and healthy, your story is an amazing example of Gods plan not ours 💗🙏🏼 praying you have the best family time at home now and just enjoy the journey with Wells 💙💙
I'd never thought I’d click so fast on a video, but congratulations on your new baby boy, Allison! He's just the cutest little one ever! 🥹💧
Just so happy for you and Brandon 🥹❤️ sending lots of positive vibes and blessings to the cutest little baby
Allison in 1975 I Was Born in one hospital with cerebral palsy and I was rushed into another hospital for treatment in the nicu area my mom was not able to see me for a while. 😢😢
Keep in mind that I was full term and c-section was not considered common in those days.
Enjoy the beautiful life that you are blessed to be holding in your arms ❤
God bless you and your family
Eric
The people that mocked you
Will be dealt with Eric
There's some very mean, uneducated
Spiteful people in the world with no morals or respect..
My daughter is severely disabled
So I totally understand where you are coming from..
Hope your having a great day

Tears of joy watching you hold baby Wells! Watching you is like breathing in pure joy! Congratulations Allison & Brandon! ❤
you are already such an amazing mother. Wells and Brandon are lucky to have you!
What a beautiful blessing from GOD! SO thankful you have a healthy baby. Best wishes fot a beautiful future for ypur precious family.
I am standing with you that the best is yet to come 💙
Sooooooooo happy for you both and your little bundle of joy is here!❤❤ Very excited for your journey into parenthood.
Thank you for the update! It’s wonderful seeing you hold your sweet baby boy in your arms. Each day he will grow and grow into the special young man that God has called him to be. 🎉❤ Congratulations 🎉
So happy you got your son and that everyone is doing well. Thanks for sharing! ❤
Thank you for sharing. So happy you are home with your beautiful son.
I'm so happy for you. Your family is so beautiful and sweet. Thank you for sharing such wonderful memories.
Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy. God bless!!
You are a beautiful family
the best is yet to come! thats so true, allison! it gets better from here ❤❤❤
I’m praising God for your beautiful testimony. 😭😭😭 congratulations on your sweet baby boy!!!
Beautiful! Motherhood is # 1 so just self care and love every moment. Babies grow fast! ❤
Congratulations! Wishing you a speedy recovery. I personally don't worry about schedules with my babies, I am led by them ❤
Seeing you as a mama. Ahhh, the best. Thank you, Jesus! ❤
I have never clicked on a video so fast. Welcome back!! 🩵🩵🩵
10 seconds in and I’m tearing up already 🥹🥹🥹
I got so emotional watching the intro. I have 2 boys and let me tell you…they are amazing little sweethearts and love me so much. Im so glad all went well! You were and still are in my thoughts and prayers ❤ God bless you on this amazing journey. It truly is going to be the best part of your life
Big congratulations for the arrival of new member in ur family! Best wishes and love to you and new baby ❤🎉
Yes now a health y 6 ft tall young man just turned 21 years old
So happy for the 3 of you to be home💖! Enjoy this beautiful time🥰
Congratulations on your sweet little boy. ❤ I was born at 28 weeks. The fact that you were able to stay with him is so amazing. I’m so glad that was your experience.
A family member had what sounds like a very similar experience at 36 weeks at the beginning of the year and they are all recovered and thriving now.
Wishing you the best. 🩵
Congratulations once again, glad everything worked out so well, God is truly great!
And for your health, the baby and your new family we prayed so happy for God's blessings
