@CalamityJesus Always loved the looks of all models of the tigers, I have actually been working at a triumph/harley dealership for less than a half a year now while going to school and i gotta say that 500 pounds wet is NOTHING compared to some of the 1,100+pound harleys that i get to push around on the daily
@Shniva That was chest mounted. It didn't move with his head, like when he pulled away, he slowed right down to check for traffic when pulling out, but it didn't move with his head.
@bfmv580 The Tiger 1050 is a very balanced bike.. although it isn't light at 500lbs wet. It is very tall and very easy to lean thanks to wide handlebars and a low COG. The 1050 triple engine has a very friendly flat torque curve which really brings the entire platform into balance. If you get a chance, ride one.. it's most flexible engine in an adventure bike on the market. The weight is only an issue at very low parking lot speeds. Even then, it feels lighter than it is.
@pancakeessss It's a GoPro Hero HD on a GoPro Chest Harness. This is with the open (non-waterproof) backing plate at 720p @ 30fps. I've had trouble keeping the 720p @ 60fps running for more than 20min.. too bad since the deer would have been much clearer in slow motion with the extra frames.
@CalamityJesus oh i see, yeah i had a horrible experience with gopro and returned one of their cameras to them because i couldn't view footage that i filmed when i could before. i've been using contourHD's cams which have a bit of wind noise but at least are reliable and record every time and are easy to operate with a glove on. gopro has too many firmware issues for me to waste my time with
@CalamityJesus i did at first too with the gopro until i left it running to capture a few hours long group motorycycle ride and it said corrupted file error or something.i don't remember exactly, it was last summer and i was HEATED because i just invested in a helmet camera for summer group summer rides and it wouldn't work...had a long time computer programmer friend borrow it and check it out and said it was firmware issue. i've been able to recover every clip captured with my contourhd tho
Awesome bike, just got a blue 07 with a Remus pipe and remap, it’s like a big supermoto , wheelies off the throttle 👍

Man that thing looks really well balanced and light, judging by the riding atleast. Nice video and bike.
@pancakeessss I may be wrong, but it is in his helmet.
He's just stuck in the -I'm riding really fast- position.

@RYMABR Bingo! I was using a GoPro Chest Harness. It's an elastic over-the-shoulder harness that has a GoPro proprietary mount on the solar plexus.
Sweet video and bike. What was your camera setup?

@pancakeessss I've had good luck so far.. but I'm knocking on wood just in case. I think (and hope) part of my problem is the SD card I'm using.
Great vid. Somebody get me a Tiger!

Good hunt !
what windsheld is?
Did you really just whack the throttle open mid-corner? Squidly.
Where? o.O
How many times do you cancel the indicators??
That engine is music - forget a soundtrack
