- In this video I have explored Lajpat Nagar market. This market is also commonly known as Central Market, Lajpat Nagar. Lajpat Nagar is a commercial and residential neighbourhood of South Delhi. Lajpat Nagar market is one of the best markets for ethic shopping. You can get very good quality of Lehengas, sarees, suits, dress-materials etc at this market.
It is also a best place to shop for bags, home décor items, export garments and random stuff. Lajpat nagar market is also a popular shopping markets of Delhi where you can buy accessories, jewelries, clothes, juttis and other traditional items.
Most of the shops at this market are of Fixed Price, which means bargaining is a little difficult thing to do at this market of Delhi. However, you can still try your bargaining skills and you are lucky then you may win. I loved the lehengas and blouses at this market. They were fairly priced and beautiful too.
Other than shopping, Lajpat Nagar market is also famous for food. Do try out the Raam Laddo, Dahi Bhalle and the famous Dolma Aunty’s momos when you are at this must-visit place to shop in Delhi.
This market remains closed on Mondays. The nearest metro station is Lajpat Nagar Metro Station.

Harvinder Singh variety wise lajpat is best!! But there is bargaining , only shops that are showrooms are fixed price and never eat food in lajpat nagar other than a retaurant because i have been a frequent shopper at lajpat nagar , i have been there at times when market shuts down at that time these shopkeepers clean their utensils on the filthy streets and even street dogs lick their pots and pans ewww😛
