BTW, ''cañonazo'' in Zamboangueño Chavacano can also mean like: a hit, a strong hit, a powerful hit, a shot, a strong shot, or a powerful shot.
It is also like a general term or word in Chavacano for the Spanish words ''balazo'', ''fusilazo'', ''escopetazo'', ''disparo'', etc., because we rarely or not commonly and not usually use those Spanish words in Chavacano.
Specifically, ''cañonazo'' is a direct Chavacano translation for a cannon shot, and is a direct synonym for the phrase ''tiro de cañon''.

yeah.. top dogs. old songs but dang.. i sitll listen to it.. some of their songs are political (such as in-fighting within Philippines), when we are all the same people. Old music was so much better, it had meaning in comparison to today's standards.. especially for commercial rap..
