  • Try this meditation for calming anxiety.
    A couple of tips:
    1. Feel your feet on the floor.
    2. Take a deep breath.
    Let go of control and meet this moment as it is. You’ve got this.

    Love these quick mindfulness practices! Yes, I know a longer one would bring even deeper and probably more lasting effects BUT it is amazing to notice the very beneficial difference even taking 5minutes can bring to one's mind/body. So, for the times when only a few minutes are available its nice to have these brief options to bring mindfulness into the moment.

      Say, Calm. How about restoring my recently expired free Calm iPhone app. Ii just apparently expired because I absolutely cannot everything stopped working.
      I beg you to to make me a very loyal Calm user once again. I just can’t afford the Premium version, at this exact moment.
      I just recently fully discovered your exceedingly beautiful and sweet AP. I’d really only used it to listen to sound scapes. So, most of my Free subscriptions was virtually waisted 😭.
      And, just a few days ago, I discovered that perfect new Series, RADICAL SELF CARE. I did some research, and found out that the term was actually coined by Anne Lamont, author extraordinary.
      Long story longer, I’m a survivor of over 15 years of brutal child abuse
      And many years of bullying, besides. And I’ve been exactly grieving for all my life. Because my very own mother never really loved me. From ages 4 to 16, my mother assaulted and battered me to no end.
      If ANYONE EVER COULD USE MINDFULNESS. I suggest that if me.

    Thank you for sharing your gift of this meditation. The brief 5 min. exercise with rhythmic breathing is a great way to start the day.

    Thank you so much, I've only just found this & have to comment that although my legs are still a bit shaky, which I've grown used to, I actually felt quite calm at the end.
