Great spirit in the young soloists Belcore and Dulcamara are out of this world ! congratulation to all the soloists students choirs & orchestra for this performance such natural and full of life.
Nice production. A few ropey moments vocally from Nemerino but Belcore and Adina very good. Strange decision to cut a few lines in the final scene though. At around 2.16.05) the standard libretto has the 2 lovers find out his uncle has died (proving that her newly-found love for him has nothing to do with his money) and also Belcore showing he doesn't care about being snubbed because he'll have plenty of other lovers. It's just a few lines and they take just a few seconds, and they up these character/plot points nicely, so why cut them? I found that odd and it slightly ruined the ending for me.
