Praise the Lord for this dear, sweet sister and her willingness to share her heart! I was crying as I listened to her speak of how to look at things if God has not yet sent healing. In my current health battles, her words really ministered to me and were such a comfort and reminder that His grace will be sufficient, no matter how long the trial lasts. She is just a precious soul, and so are you, dear Jeannine. I know you suffer from unhealed health issues, too. I pray that God will lay His healing hand on you, your friend, and me, too, along with all the others who are suffering. I am eternally grateful for you and your channel and can't begin to tell you the times you have ministered to my family and me. Sending love and hugs to both of you today!
Aww thank you so much! Your prayers are felt and heard. God has been so good and my health has been doing so well. Life is pretty normal for me these days. Sending you hugs as you live with your health issues. It's so hard... but i know! Her words were so powerful. She such a blessing! God bless you
I love all of your vlogs but this one hit home with me. Being a disabled single mom life has been a struggle at times but I knew I had to get through it because I had my son to take care of and I was all he had. I became disabled when my son was only 7 years old and went from working full time to living on what I got from disability, so our lives changed dramatically. My disability isn't something people can see so I've had to deal with many people who judge and don't understand. I try to educate without too much anger toward them but even for me sometimes the judgement of others can be a challenge to navigate with grace. As a family we have overcome a lot of challenges and I had faith that no matter what we were up against we'd make it through. My son just turned 18, we have always had a roof over our head and good food on our table and I feel blessed that even through the struggles we've made it. Life is full of ups and downs it's for sure, but having faith that I can make it through is how I manage to just get through each day.
🙏🕊✝️❤️Amen. It’s only human for us to feel let down at times or feel that our faith isn’t strong enough. But you are correct, God’s grace is sufficient. He picks us up in our lowest moments and shows us that He loves us no matter what. There’s such great peace in trusting our Almighty Creator.
What a lovely, young lady with challenges and can still remain so calm during the interview. She spoke well and was very informative, filled with the word of God. THankYou for such a gentle-spirited individual who spoke volumes to the audience 🙏🏼
His grace IS sufficient!! AMEN! Those autoimmune diseases are terrible! I have RA and Sjogren's and when you look fine, but feel yucky- it's hard. Thanksfor sharing this tidbit- small but powerful. 😊
I am not a young mom with children. But what this interview did was encourage me, a gramma and great gramma. Sometimes i get engulfed in a pity party over health issues, insteadv of waking, God gave me a mind and he gave me legs so I can walk. I need to remember that. Thank you for these reminders.
Thanks for sharing this. It has helped me to understand what my mother went through. She, too, looked normal. But she had a hole in her heart and a heart valve issue that she was born with. The doctors didn't want her to have any children. She had 4 of us. She also lived to be 79 and passed away 10 years ago.
Erma, you are a lovely gracious lady and an overcomer. Take up our cross and follow Jesus is our calling. That means different things to people. The reward is living in the faith, seeking and finding His answers for the next thing. Sometimes my routine to get through a day seems so repetitive. The Lord brought to mind the formation of stalactites in caves was by drip, drip drip for years in formation. These small tasks are building a beautiful work in us for God's glory.
Amen 🙏🏽 to that and thanks Janine for this interview. I have health issues without a cure and I make sure he’s always going to be the center and first in my life. But I’m happy and thankful seeing it this way .. have a blessed day my darlings
Thank you for your encouraging channel! I think most of us struggle with something, and may feel sorry for ourselves. Erma is right, His grace is sufficient!!❤🙏
Everyone's journey is so different. God is the unchanging constant who helps us navigate the smooth open roads as well as the potholes, detours, and lane closures.
His grace IS sufficient!!! Struggles in life also give us the gifts of empathy and compassion. These gifts allow us to testify to his love and grace and to approach and help our fellow humans with greater humility and love. While my life would be so much easier without my health struggles I thank Him daily that I can communicate to others with much more clarity.
Thank you for sharing. Wonderful testimony. I'm 58 now and raised 3 children while having MS. And yes his grace is sufficient through those years. I'm now being challenged by some new health issues and have been tempted to have a pity party. Your testimony is a reminder to stay the course and keep Christ at the center of my life. God bless.
I was touched by this video and it resonates so much with me. I have had chronic pain since I was in my twenties. When I was first diagnosed, I was very upset and even suffered some depression, because I couldn’t imagine living the rest of my life in pain. It didn’t help that my disability is invisible unless I am in severe pain, which happens sometimes, making it hard for others to understand what I’m experiencing. What I have learned over the years is God has me in the palm of His hand and He knew exactly what He was doing even though it took me a long time to understand His plan. Becoming disabled at age 28 allowed me to be home with my children. It gave me the freedom to focus on my family instead of work, which was a tremendous gift. Even though I loved my nursing career, my family was far more important to me. I often wondered why God would give me the desire and ability to be a nurse and take me out of that career so soon after I began working as a nurse. What I didn’t know then were the plans He had for that knowledge to be used to help a multitude of people in my life. I have run support groups for those with chronic pain, for women who have experienced pregnancy loss, for those who have experienced abuse and I have cared for many family members and friends due to having a nursing license. I have had the privilege to care for 5 different people on hospice and walk them through the death process, two of whom were my parents. I am so grateful and so humbled by the way God has used my disability to allow me to help others, including 2 of my own children who suffered vaccine injuries and required early childhood intervention and therapies to recover. Even though I still struggle with chronic pain and some associated symptoms, I don’t have the kind of pain I once did and God has blessed me with great doctors who have helped me. He has restored so many things in my life through my chronic pain that I am grateful for it. I know that sounds odd, but it’s the truth and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Wow that was incredible. So well spoken and true in so little words. I’ve learned recently the difference between being thankful and giving thanks. Like being thankful how kind the Lord is versus thanking him for his kindness. GIVE thanks in all things. Whatever isn’t going right, take the short moment to give God thanks for the things that are going right, or just give thanks for who he is. He IS sufficient! Simple things can be easily forgotten or taken for granted. Like our legs to walk if we have working legs, etc. This was so short and so beautiful, thank you! That victim mentality is TOO easy to get into and to stay in as well. But how sisters encourage us along the way is strength to the bones ❤️
That spoke to me when she said if God hasn’t answered he is say my grace is sufficient. Thank you for sharing and BWI g and encourager to others. Blessings 💕
Wonderful to hear from your friend. She is an inspiration for sure. But you are as well Jeanine! I've often found it inspiring how you work through your health issues with a smile, and laughter, even while in pain. You have a lot of strength and courage. I'll never forget the trip you made I think when your father-in-law was ill, and you went all by yourself while dealing with your health issue. I know it couldn't have been fun - but you didn't complain at all. You smiled your way through it, made us laugh at times even though we were worried about you! and that spoke to me - letting me know that God was definitely with you at that time and therefore, he's also with me in hard times. Thanks to you both!
I suffer with PA which is an autoimmune disease. I can understand the fact about people don't see or know what is going on because it is a hidden disability. His grace is sufficient is the same thing the Lord put on my heart when I struggled with seeing others healed and not me although I had prayed & asked the Lord so many times for it. Thank you for sharing this testimony. It's been a wonderful reminder and such an encouragement. Blessings.
I appreciate her positivity. I have always been a very healthy person . So hats off to her and others who struggle with health and are still able to count there blessings.
Hi Jeannine, you look so great! You are just glowing. You've lost weight. You just look like you feel so much better. Praying you are all you want. Great video.
Thank you for this video….it truly touched my soul..I recently had a bilateral mastectomy and thank God the cancer is gone but I do face doing chemo-this has reminded me to put all things to Christ for strength…
Sometimes it’s hard not to get depressed when you think you have done all the right things and yet your health issues are still there or new ones are popping up. I like her point about thinking about looking at the fact that you are blessed with legs to walk, arms to use and a mind to think with….she is right..and I never looked at it in that way. We need to think about all the good things we still are blessed with and put them to better use…to help ourselves more.
You ladies are a true blessing. I will never forget coming out of a store to get in my van and a man making comments because I was parked in the handicapped spot. I was having a very bad day and I responded a little brasher than I should have. I merely looked at him and said just because I look fat and sassy doesn't mean I am. I have 1-5 years left to live and you are not to judge that is for God to do. That was 23 years ago now. God answered my prayers and I have received many years as a blessing. So many people think they know what's going on and they have no idea. God is our savior and only he knows, so next time you see someone that looks healthy think twice before you judge them. God Bless you Janine for bringing this into light with your friend 👼
I'm so thankful you God answered your prayers! Amen! There are many hidden things that people cannot see. It's a good reminder to not make assumptions so quickly.
I have a sticker on my care that has a picture of someone in a wheelchair and someone who is standing. It says, “Not all disabilities look like this” pointing to the wheelchair; “some look like this” pointing to the standing person.
Thank you Janine for this heart warming video. No one knows what's going on inside of a person and we need to be more humble. Your dear friend is sweet and caring, as are you ❤❤
Yes, my youngest and I get upset with people who don't have their disability placker on and park in the designated area. Then, I rethink they are ashamed and put it away and forget to take it out. I only get upset when I am in terrible pain and still have to run errands.
@@crybebebunny I went through about 5 years that I really needed it then I gave it up for several years however I'm back to needing it now so the Dr. gave me a plate. I feel horrible in the stores as well riding the carts but my back pinches I fall and if I fall I break bones so Dr said always a cart if no cart is available then wait
I have PCOS too & it is never fun, especially when it's flaring... Nobody understands the pain unless they go through it... sometimes, it doesn't even feel the same as someone else & that's frustrating too. I love the comment about His grace being enough bcuz I never really thought of it that way. Thank you for this video ❤ God bless y'all 🙌 🙏 💖
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Jeanine for this video. I actually teared up listening to her.. She’s definitely an inspiration for me to keep on keeping on with my type 2 diabetes, arthritis and more health issues. This video spoke volumes to me as I’ve prayed for years that God would heal me. I have felt so bad for years that I could no longer serve God the way I use to and how I have felt that I’ve failed him. I’ve always struggled with accepting this season in my life and listening to your friend has truly encouraged me. His grace is sufficient.. May God continue to bless your channel.. It has blessed me ❤
I'm so glad it was encouraging to you! She's such a blessing and I was so glad she agreed to share as she could bless and inspire others! Sending hugs. Stay strong!
Oh my I'm so glad I touck the time to sit down, and listen. I feel strength after I listen to this wonderful woman. I'm a mom of 6 children and I am also diabetic, have had it for 4 years m, and also have had asma for 10 plus years. And although it's a struggle at times I know God is in control of it all. And he has also given me the ability to use my hands and legs. Thank you for sharing such am amazing, encouraging video.. ❤️ 💖 best wishes to all the women with disabilities and raising a family.
Her testimony touched my heart beautiful. And God It's good Amen thank you JEANNINEI really enjoyed this Video Can't wait till next week god bless your friend cathy❤
I enjoyed listening to this video especially knowing what God gives us each day. I too struggle with health issues. Having Fibromyalgia n arthritis can be over whelming. Medication helps but above all things I give God the glory. I praise His name daily n being thankful that He did give me another day. I didn’t have these health issues when I was younger raising 2 little boys. My heart goes out her. I’m sure she has some bad days n many good ones. God is so good. ♥️😊👍🌟🙏
Oh wow, this resonated so much with me. It was so uplifting and beautiful. I live with an autoimmune and multiple other problems and have done fasting and praying for healing a few times. Each time God says to me, My grace is sufficient. This has allowed me to work part time, and in my church, so through my weakness I get to serve my God in different ways. Thank you both for such a beautiful talk. God bless from Australia 🙏🕊
I'm not a religious person im sorry if that offends anyone BUT ip respect people who are and like listen and learning alittle about things, I respect you so much and your right I have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and mild asthma, both hidden disabilities and I feel do judged by other people in terms "you can't have a disability your clearly healthy" 😢 I have a radar key its a special key here in Scotland and UK for people with disabilities who emergency need a toilet and if its locked this radar key unlocks any closed toilet which I'd so helpful. I love your channel and your friends and family sending positive love and energy ❤️
I also have diabetes and spinal stenosis and live with chronic pain also but my legs are not good I spend most of my day in a wheelchair I can clean or cook anymore it’s so hard having my daughter and husband do it they don’t know how and me telling them isn’t good either it’s hard not having my house look like it always has and not being able to shop either my life is hard
I too have PCOS, have had 8 miscarriages and one live birth and one newborn through adoption. I also have severe allergies and asthma; and psoriatic arthritis. Yet I found the strength to raise two children eight years apart in age. I thank the Almighty Lord for the space between my children and the wonderful doctors who he has placed in my life! God is so good!🙏🏼🙏🏼😃😃
Thank you for sharing this! I read something the other day online that relates to this and photography! Thought I would share it. ~ When a photographer can’t change a scene, he changes his angle and lens to capture the best of that scene. Similarly, when you can’t change a situation in your life, change your perspective to get the best out of that situation. Try to be a filter, not a sponge. ~ ❤❤❤
I hate to have to say this to you, but please try eliminate all caffeine out of your diet...yes, that coffee you love, and you will feel so much better. Not 100% But much better. I had a tough life, not getting into it, but all 4 of my kiddos knew every restroom in our 10 mile hometown radious😊 Cutting out caffeine, my beloved caffeine, even decaffeinated coffee, and trying clean eating which included no bread and no sugar,(yes, my Pennsylvania Dutch roots protested for months!), made a monumental difference in my life. And your guest on the program is spot on! With God nothing shall be impossible. I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me! It's all about Him. With Him, In Him, Through Him.
Thanks for sharing! Yes caffeine is definitely a weakness of mine. It hasn't really been affecting me anymore since I changed some things... (won't go into detail) and because of that I haven't given up coffee just yet. Sugar and gluten actually seem to be bigger triggers to me. But I do know it would be better if I eliminated caffeine. I'm doing well so haven't forced myself to quit just yet. I'm glad you found what worked for you! That's amazing!

I also have PCOS. It can feel very lonely at times. This interview was so encouraging to me. Thank you.

No matter if God does not choose to heal us, HE is with us through the storm!! Through the chronic pain!! Through each challenge🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Not like I can type right. Waking was supposed to say thinking.
😅 my typing does that all the time! Sending hugs! Health struggles are never easy. 😪
Your interviews are nice and I hope you two will have more chats on the channel!
What an incredible lady! Thank you for sharing

Sweet attitude of a precious young Christian mom!!
Erma! Goodness! I haven't seen her in a long time! What an inspiration!

What a refreshing interview
I was surprised to see you Erma, but it was such a good surprise 🎉 thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you for this encouragement! I'm a type one diabetic and a mom too and really appreciated this!

Thank you both! Resets faith and love!

Thank you gals for sharing. You're both an inspiration to us all.
♥️😊👍🌟🙏
Thank you for sharing. I sure needed that today!

❤❤❤
I struggle with some serious health issues and this video was very inspiring. Thanks. 💜
I'm enjoying this program. Thanks for sharing your life experiences and your faith in Christ with others! God bless you and your family!
Wonderful video. Thank you both for sharing. Have a great weekend!
