North Country Trail | 2023 Hike 7 - 100 Mile Challenge | Jonesville thru Lost Nation State Game Area

Did a 2-day hiking adventure this time. Tackled Jonesville to Hillsdale, Michigan on Day 1 and Hillsdale through Lost Nation to Pittsford Rd Parking on Day 2. It was windy and snowy on Day 1, despite having been in the 80s just days before. Such weird weather. Had a nicer second day to tackle the Lost Nation section, which I had already done about a month before, but it was a completely different experience this time around. The majority of huge blowdowns had been taken care of (thanks, trail maintainers!) and there was no MUD! Glad I gave it another try.

That is so kind of you to re-hike. And you went over that horrible little foot bridge. Glad the water was low and it was dry. And the second horrible foot bridge that was washed partially down stream when I came through. An amazing 2 days of hiking for you. You survived that overnight in the cold. Well done!!
