In this weeks episode we are looking at a easy Balyage correction my lovely client had had her hair done only a few weeks prior and well I’m sure you’ll see from the video that it’s not the most blended Balyage so in this particular episode I take the colour up higher disperse the demarcation that are in the hair and then put a nice fresh pink magenta colour over the top.

absolutely love it! I thought you were going to say she did that to herself but when a hairdresser did it, thats awful for her. so glad she found you and I bet she was absolutely thrilled with it! I am about to attempt my own balyage and this came at the perfect time! (been saying this for ages lol). I have very dark brown natural hair with about a 5 inch root of virgin and another 6 or 7inches of box dyed lightened hair but I also have a few greys I am going to cover. (I also wear my hair straight so this video is perfect timing) This is my plan. step 1 to balyage as above with 30 vol. then I have mydentity 4ni which i am going to add a bit of 3mv to attempt a root smudge. then I am going to try and do 3mv (violet) on some of the hair and 5mr (rose)on the rest. When I get round to doing it I will let you see! wish me luck lol, I might be driving to your salon soon! wait no, I can't because we are in lockdown....again!

Well done James ! Another salon friendly technique that we use a lot in hair studios ! I prefer to use clay lightener a lot, too, since it is more friendly to the scalp and hair, with 20, 25 or 30 vol ! I really concern about clients health and not only the result ! Maybe you are the only hairdresser I know on youtube that show us how to fix some common problems ! Nobody is perfect, so well done once again !

Looks nice but...I would have liked to see the bleached intermediate result first and then the pink at the end.
Without this intermediate step, I cannot judge whether I would have liked the bleached result ...
Yep that’s fair enough I get that entirely in the specific instance of this technique there really wasn’t time to show the colour without the pink over the top as it was a client scenario and the pink colour that I used is applied to dump her you could get a sense of what it might look like blonde but I don’t think you would want this to be a high contrast result as the painting is very heavy 😁👍🏻
