I am so tremendously blessed by having the opportunity to have Dean Rashad as my Dean, while I was at Howard University. As a graduate aka Alumna of the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts Department of Music. Thank you so much Dean Rashad for always being a pillar to the community of black excellence. We love you!!!!❤❤❤❤
DEAN PHYLICIA RASHAD indeed you are a brilliant ray of light who shines brightly in all you do, your footprints are large and indelible in the arts; at Howard and the world. Enjoy your short "nap" and your retirement, we can hardly wait to see what you'll do next. God Bless you...❤🙏
Ms. Rashad/Dean Rashad is a force of grace, intelligence, dignity, love. I've been an admirer of hers from the first time I saw her onscreen on the former ABC soap opera "One Life To LIve". She played an attorney, if I'm not mistaken, named "Courtney". She played a potential love interest for Al Freeman Jr's character. She really lights up the screen. It's hard to believe she's 70 something years old. Her complexion is impeccable. I'd love for her to write her story one day soon.
What an elegant and enchanting woman. grace.....wit.... intelligence & humility. Aging beautifuly, like a fine wine. The whole package with a great big bow. Regal!!!
Stunning! Striking! Inside/out. Wow. 76 yrs old. 😮 You truly do NOT age better than this. Essentially looks exactly the same as 35-40 yrs ago (just older). Barely.
@@LilHelena Yes. I know about the poetry books, but I thought she wrote an autobiography as well. I guess I was mistaken. Yes, a biography of her life should happen.
I don’t equate the arts with the sciences, at all. I don’t know if one is more important than the other in the long run, but they are the opposite of each other.

She's our mother, our queen, and the way in which she articulated the importance of the Arts is so well received.

I'm happy for Dean Rashad, but someone in this family needs to write a book on the life of Vivian Ayres her mother. We as a people need her book.
I thought Ms. Vivian wrote a book about her life. Didn’t she?🤔
Yes, exactly!
@@MsTexas73 She wrote poetry books but not an autobiography

They are equally important to quality of life and human existence. Ancient civilisations figured this out long ago.
