Recently I found another one tongue twister "If two witches were watching two watches, which witch would watch which watch?" It's so funny :) Nice to see you Stephanie again.
Hello Teacher , I am a your Sri lankan student. I watched your videos since 2021 . I think my level has been increased by watching your videos. Thank you very much teacher ! 🙏🏼 Good luck for you and your family ! 🙏🏼💪🏼👍🏼😇
Btw, sorry the audio isn’t great 🙈 I’m trying to learn how to improve the audio on my channel, and there’s a definite learning curve 😅 tips and feedback are welcome 🙏🏼🤣
A lot of fun Stefanie, thank you 😂. Never heard of an Irish wristwatch. Try this Italian "scioglilingua"(tongue twister); it should be feasible for you that are fluent in Spanish: "sopra la panca la capra campa sotto la panca la capra crepa."
I'm a native English speaker and you are UNUSUALLY GOOD at these!! I can't do some of them even once through, let alone quickly! A long one that I know: Betty Botter bought some butter. "But," she said, "my butter's bitter. If I put it in my batter, it will make my batter bitter." So she bought some better butter. And a total classic is "she sells seashells by the seashore"
Haha thank you for saying this because it emphasizes my point that these tongue twisters are even difficult for native speakers… so why would they be useful for English learners? 🙈😆
You did your best don't feel bad about not being able to do tongue twisters I'm Native of Russian and Kazakh and I hated tongue twisters in Russian and Kazakh in my native language
I think this one is the most difficult: She sells sea shells by the sea shore. The shells that she sells are surely sea shells. So if she sells shells on the sea shore, I'm sure she sells seashore shells.
Stefanie querida! Eres maga! Casi abandonas el canal y duplicaste tus suscriptores! Increíble! Solo tú! No conozco a nadie que haya hecho lo mismo! Congra!!😘👍
Hilarious 😆 I'v struggle as well on my own language. And I want to mention that I owe you. Because before I know you I was struggling even I couldn't express myself and communicate with others in English but after I took the FBC course I totally changed and my English move to the next level thank you 😊 and wish the best for you and your family.
Hola Stephanie!, felicitaciones por volver al ruedo!, gracias por todo el material que sigues brindando! sigo pendiente en el waitlist para poder comenzar en alguno de tus cursos online, alguna idea de fecha probable de open enrollment?
Thanks a lot🙌You're doing great work! So many people feel much better and talk much better thanks to you🙋 And a crazy tongue twister from Poland: Czy rak trzyma w szczypcach strzęp szczawiu czy trzy części trzciny? Meaning: ‘Does the crab hold in its claws a piece of dock [the plant] or three pieces of reed?’ Combine fricatives with affricates (c, ć, cz / dz, dź, dż) and we have a problem.😱
@@TheEnglishCoach I did but couldn't even get closer to you... that's why I watched it two times.. but still far from you..😅 but I m considering you as my English coach, so you need to make sure ma'am that me and many other of your students reach there goal.. Asap.. have a nice day or night 🤗
In my native language (latvian) there is no "th" sound (I have heard that with a very thick accent people pronounce it as "z"), so every tongue twist with this sound is hard! There is a tongue twist from Latvia: "Kārlis Klārai krelles deva. Klāra Kārlim klarneti" (Kārlis gave a necklace to Klāra. Klāra gave a clarinet to Kārlis".
Surprisingly, I found "Irish wristwatch" an eazy enough for me as russian. It really depends on mother tongue of a person. We are used to sharp and hissing sounds in russian.
Yeah, I’m sure one’s native language can influence their success with these! How did you do on the other ones?? You should also try the TH practice from my previous video ☺️
@@TheEnglishCoach Fuzzy-Wuzzy went well too, but others so-so especially those with TH-sound. There's no such or similar sounds in my native language. Yes, I have to practice with it more.
Here's an interesting tongue twister which really supports me. It's "how much wood would a wood chuck, chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood" another one... "She sells seashell on the sea shore" "
Great to see you back in your channel, Stefanie! This video was definitely fun. I was just a little curious about knowing the meaning of some of the words you said, like thug. Anyways, "you nork" it's a Californian contraction from "you all nerd folk". ;-)
@@TheEnglishCoach according to Unique New York dictionary, if “you nork” a tongue twister, it basically means you fail to say it. And that’s something I just made up.
There's a tongue twister about three Swedish witches for beginners, intermediate and advanced speakers. Have you tried it? That's even funnier in those 3 levels!
These weren't that complicated for a Hungarian speaker at all. Maybe the 'Swiss wristwatches' was a bit of challenge :D However, you'd better watch out with the 'Free Thugs' not to say F#&@ :D:D Try to rearrange this one as follows: Free thugs set 3 thugs free. My favorite one is the Woodchuck, though. :D
Actually I don't have any problem to say all these tongue twisters. I had more issue to remember all the particulars within them. You know bear is hairy, fuzzy and etc.. Lips, teeth, tip of the tongue and what a sentence to say in it's correct order.
It seems to me that tongue twisters are easier for non-native speakers than for native speakers, because their tongue is not used to the patterns of sounds of a foreign language.

My favs are: "how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood", " she sells seashells on the sea shore".
I grew up saying those ones, too!
How many sheets could a sheet slitter slit.
Good.
Actually love tongue twisters/nursery rhymes, it loosen up the facial muscles.
Some are easier to say than others. There are a few here that are definitely a challenge.

The best way to deal with tongue twisters is to focus on the cognetive conveyence.
