Yes yes the thing that scares me most about turbo charging an 8th gen.. the heat control so close to all the firewall components. I think you should do a long term review on how things hold up back there.
Coming from a Kawapped integra I can tell you the heat killed everything within 8-10 inches of the header. Had a Ktuned ram horn header and had to switch to a more low profile DC swap header. I hate heat!! Lol

From your experience which would you recommend a newbie supercharged kit like kraftwerks or a turbokit such as this prl?
My 8th gen is just fbo with basemap for now. I just want a mild mid 300's horsepower
Nothing beats the sound of a turbo.
Not to mention the turbo would be more efficient as well as cheaper. Although a supercharged setup would be awesome too!
Comes down for that power level at they powerband that you want to have. Seem to both be about the same price.
@@chrisdonnelly5904 turbo is most definitely more $$, unless you use junk parts. These PRL kits with a nice turbo are close to $9,000CAD.
Nick ive heard LHT performance even say older S2k with lots of miles do sometimes get more HP then newer ones they might have good break in on those miles not sure but go HONDA! lol

So far?? I have a PRL kit i bought brand new. Installed in 2016 car had about 160,000kms on it. Have just over 187,000 now. Running the GTX30r numbers were 420whp 310wtq.
Why do you low mileage owners act like that's a lot 😵😵😵 fuck man I got a 160,000 MILES on mine that's like 250,000kms
@@repingers9777 I’ve got 577,000 kms on my 06 LX sedan. (360,000 miles) original drivetrain. Hell all fuel components are even untouched 😎

@@Robbie2Fly I would like your comment but that sucks man! You know I've heard over the years a lot of people have had issues with otherwise very healthy, low mile k series burning oil like crazy and some just dont. It's really kind of bizarre to me!
