Can’t lie you kinda inspired me to buy exit signs from lowes and put them up on my wall! As well as drawing vintage style exit signs and emergency lights! Btw good job! Also I like the fire alarm videos!

We have the VR signs where I work which is a giant factory. The other half of the room has emerilite WW-SVX with battery backup, magnetic test "buttons", smaller chevrons, and service required led blinking on a few. Not much of a need for battery as there's an inverter system powering the signs, outdoor wall packs by the doors, and a few scattered HO 6x T4 fluorescents with led conversion. Funny enough with these tough sign instilled there's a few LQMs thrown in the mix and they're holding up just fine for the past 10 years.

Interesting! VR or any all conditions exit sign is a good choice for a large factory.

@@ExitSign250 I totally agree, albeit very expensive to install a lot of them. Older parts of the factory had LXURs that have been replaced with generic ECRGs, and ultra thin combos which I think are pretty neat. Personally in a big open space is better suited to have NYC signs for better visibility than what we have, but not my call.

I couldn’t agree more about the NYC code signs in larger areas or those where the signs are installed high up. My only complaint about them is the small arrows. I have heard of some places outside of NY that have used NYC spec signs for larger spaces.

Thanks! I personally prefer the worded “EXIT” signs. And I slightly like green lettering signs a bit better compared to red lettering signs. Running man signs are great as a universal indication for an exit, but I’ve always liked worded signs more.
