Placed an order for 2024 Raptor 35. Walk out the door price was going to be 91.5k taxes and everything else included. Got a diesel AT4X for 82k walk out the door price. Raptor is nice but could not justify the extra 9.5k. Love all features at4x has.
Preach. All GMC needs to do is create another trim level over the AT4X, with more power, flare fenders and bigger tires, to compete fully with Raptor and TRX. That said, I prefer the AT4X for everyday commute yet luxury, wish they made the tires bigger.

The Raptor/TRX are high hp, long travel desert runners that can do other stuff if need be. In my opinion, the AT4X is for someone who has money and intends to drive the truck every day. The other two are niche trucks for someone with MORE money, who is gonna take it out on weekends and special excursions. YES, you can drive all 3 every day but, most won't. Sounds like Chevy has a Raptor/TRX fighter on the way but, it may still be another year or so out. I could never afford any of them so, my opinion is simply that, an opinion. Lol
I still maintain the AT4X and ZR2 have a different mission than Raptor and TRX. Feel they are less flashy/showy while being more geared towards off-roading rather than high speed desert running. If GM would just put in the LZ0 3.0 Duramax already, I would be signing papers on an AT4X. Would be the ultimate off road vehicle regarding range, torque, rock crawling and towing.

I agree, AT4X and ZR2 aren’t trying to go for fast paced off roading but instead handle more common off roading obstacles. While AT4X being the luxury king of all three. Also I believe the Duramax for the AT4X is standard now in 2024.
I don't think Ford has to copy RAM for suspension, sense it was Ford that started the high speed factory in the first place and Ford has a better suspension in the first place
I have a ZR2 and just can't justify the $18k price increase on the GMC for some bumpers and messaging seats. Also, i think the ZR2 front end looks better IMO. So...out of these 3 i'd say the Raptor is the better buy but if you replace the AT4X with a ZR2 then ZR2 FTW (price being a huge factor).
I’m on the GMC camp, I think the 2023 sierra AT4x, which now comes standard with the front AEV bumper, looks better than the ZR2, the interior is also much nicer.

I can't justify buying any of them for practicality reasons, but they are all very nice trucks that have their place in the market.
If I leased, I'd take the Ram. If I were to buy, I'd take the GMC. When you start turbo charging V6's to hang with big trucks you're asking for problems.
I Like the exterior of the GMC AT4X alot. The TRX id still my favorite but I wish you could either get the front end Painted black or colour match. the plastic just looks cheaper than the other 2. AND they should have a Giant TRX on the tailgate instead of the RAM and put the RAM in the corner in small letters instead.
