@CluelessAnime we will, but the unital ring books aren't even halfway finished. He's on book 7 for unital ring (I think) and there hasn't been any important pieces of information in the books yet... this leads some people to thinking that this arc will be longer than Alicization. Which means we probably won't get another season until 2026-2027. But they are making another original movie that isn't about progressive. To put this in perspective... the Alicization arc got adapted in 2018 and finished in 2020. It's been a longgg time... kind of frustrating, but you cant really do anything about it I suppose. The main issue is that Reki Kawahara writes way too much. This is a bad habit of his. And it's usually why the SAO side stories are a better read sometimes, because he just drags the main series out. This bad habit started from Alicization. And now it's even worse. But in my opinion, as long as he keeps writing more progressive I'm good :). But yea, we definitely will get an adaptation. Aniplex thirsts for SAO content because it makes them good money.
