It was a "subaru music video" from Japan where all the cars had EL headers and this one guy was telling us that EL headers sounded better, and that they are better in every way. Which they are truth be told I know that, but the one thing they aren't better at is sound. At least in my opinion, it makes the new FA20 engines sound like a golf GTI

I saw the most riced out civic I have ever seen at Pep Boys. It had the works. Spiked lug nuts, weather guards, canards on the front bumper and the rear by the tail lights, big wing, camber, purple and black paint job, transformers badge, racing stickers, hood vents, drift charm, tow hook, fart can. I prob missed some things I drove by and this race car almost broke my neck😂

When I was in my 20s I'd rag on my friends on going full "rice" but as I get older my attitude has changed to, you know what it's thier money their car and it has nothing to do with me, make what makes you happy to drive and what appeals to you, cause no matter how "ricer" I may or others think it is there will be those who dig it.
On a side note, yellow fogs, though im not a huge fan of the look, are better in the fog. I have them. Though i only use them at night.

Junior Gaming I don’t like the gold wheels, whatever that shit is on the hood that looks like carbon fiber, yellow fog lights, the mismatched exterior colors, weather guards, subs, probably little to no engine upgrades. I’m not gonna hate on tow hooks like Drew does because I live in Indiana and people do get stuck in the snow and need to get towed so it’s somewhat practical. I personally think my 8th Gen looks a lot cleaner and it’s pretty much stock.

That Toyota Scion Is 85% Nice, 15%Rice in my oppinion, the brakes didnt match anything else and the tail lights had some empty space, and i think it was a bit much to have all the black on the sides

My uncle’s old Honda Accord would fit the rice category. Weather guard, fart cannon, and tow hook. Then his biggest “accomplishment” sound system and led lighting inside the car
He doesn't need power to back the FRS though because hes coping the 86 trueno from initial D where the protagonist wins races with his low powered 86. However he does get a TRD I6 engine later on so that would have been cool to see, but then again that would cost lot of $$$. Not hating, love your videos Drew keep it up.

Regarding the painted interior. If you sand the plastic so the paint sticks, use a plastic primer, paint it and then spray over it with clear coat it will last much longer. However a ricer is too stupid to do things the correct way.
That 86 isnt great, but i think it leans more towards nice. The paint job and the trueno badge on the trunk are both initial d ae86 references so i think that's up to personal taste. In my opinion, if the fitment was a little better and it was a solid colour, id really like it.

Again, the civ at the end, not great but more nice than rice. Ditch the towhook, maybe the sub, and match the paint, and it would look slick. If it was all black i even think the gold wheels would look kinda nice. Its just a couple little things that make it a bit iffy

the FRS-86 is good, but would be without a doubt nice with better wheels/fitment and without the wing. the ducktail looks very clean, and the car was done well.

I own a Gt86 think rebadging it to another one of the models is fine but to be honest there’s no point in really doing it, if you choose do it admitting you rebadge it is fine in my eyes but some people rebadge it to “add value” to it and that’s kinda just a dick move.

Alright that Frs is clean af. That engine was not spray painted at all he ordered the red hose for the cold air intake and some aftermarket parts.
Just mentioning the hood on the red si is real carbon. Its sun damaged from exposure and not enough care. I had a hood do the exact same on an old car that was broke down.
that civic si has the honda factory Performance or hfp body kit on it which honda actually sold and looks good... if its color matched. The gold wheels is just another problem entirely...

I don’t mind the 350z I hate the wing and canards and I do prefer a manual transmission I have an chronic injury that makes a automatic a better option. I would also drive the frz if it was all white with or without the carbon fiber bits but would definitely put that blower on it. The civic I agree with the tow hook and that it needs color matching done and I could live with or without the gold wheels they aren’t horrible. Pass on the rest of the cars.

Some cars brake calipers come colored drew. Not all are rattle canned. Unfortunately red if the most common color of factory painted brake calipers.
Dodge neons (especially the r/t) are actually great starter track cars bc they can be picked up and modded for super cheap and have good handling. This one was mega rice tho

the 86 just needed a new paint job and those badge covers and that wierd rear lip removed. it's just wierd to do a badge swap from and frs to and 86 without changing the front bumper
The FRS (86) is acceptable, but all the carbon fiber should come off and paint combo set up a little better.
