      @@Wayloz you have good quality content for such little viewership and Subs. I suggest doing guides on non-mechanic related things, like where to guy after you build up a little, or how to get out of sticky situations. I also suggest you do some commentary, that tends to drive in viewers, especially when you do challenges.

    Thank you for the good guide! In the Spuin police station there are Mk3 training dummies on which you can train up to level 15. You just have to be careful when the guards want to scare you away, then stop for a moment and go back later, but if you save in between it works quite well. Best regards from Berlin

      I know its a super late comment here in 12/25/2023, but after revisiting over the patches, I'd be curious to see more coverage on that early game to mid game hump. There is a solid grind period that I often run with a basic 7 man team that tons of guides mention but I rarely see covered. The basic early economy and training burn that most handle around Hub/Squin would be solid. I've ran through 4 saves over the years with just about 70 hours in, its one of the rougher parts of the game in my humble opinion. Which is a shame because once you RTS out of that world you can see so much amazing gorgeous content and story thats hidden away.
      Alternatively A good agi and toughness guide that doesn't just abuse the playing dead mechanic or play the enslavement world would be totes.

    Over encumbrance gives massive train boosts for lots of skills. And copper sells for a Lot. So you get more gear, food etc.

      @Wayloz  Рік тому

      Thank you :) I’ll try to work on that. Would be there by now but lost my saves with the new pc. Off the top I’d recommend over-encumbrance, heavy grade armor and backpacks that debuff your stealth, then sneaking/stealing.
      EDIT: Oh also, being wounded helps train it faster and you may already know this but also sneaking by hostiles is way more effective than neutrals.

    Just stumbled upon your channel. Love the content so far! What I would like to see just because I haven't seen one is a rundown of each major race, and sub-race and what the benefits and drawbacks to each are. Could even do multiple videos one for Hivers, one for humans, one for Shek, and one for Skeletons type of thing. I always hear people taking about the subtle differences and in my six years of playing I have finally learned them all I think but it was a difficult thing to figure out.

    Is it possible to not stagger at all when hit?

    • @Wayloz
      @Wayloz  Рік тому

      Contrary to what toughness says, you will always stumble in some way whenever you take damage. Toughness does however move the damage threshold at which some stumbles occur at. By default it appears to be at 0, so any damage will cause the "high damage" stumbles. This threshold seems to increase by 0.8 per level of toughness, capping out at 80 damage to trigger the "high damage" stumbles when you reach level 100. This is damage after toughness and armor apply their resistances, so those can drastically change your stumbling.
      So it depends on how your enemy will be in the end or rather whether they can land more than 80 damage in a single strike.

    Makes no sense my toughness number being the KO number because when you get toughness higher you knock out a lot less
    Maybe I misunderstand

    • @Wayloz
      @Wayloz  Рік тому +4

      Agh, sorry I should've said it better. If you go into stats panel, hover your mouse on the toughness skill/stat, and look in the bottom left corner of that stats panel. In the corner there's going to be "KO Point : 13", etc.
      Example:
      Level 1 Toughness - KO Point : 25 (may not be accurate)
      So any body part that falls to that point, will make you fold.
      Level 40 Toughness - KO Point : -30 ( ^ x2 )
      Hope that makes better sense :)

    I wish someone would make a REAL actual guide… all the guides suck… the biggest question is how to get stronger so you can actually start winning fights and out of all the guides out there nobody actually tells you what to do to actually start getting better… like what do you do to actually live long enough in fights? How do you level up this or that so you can actually start winning fights… nobody tells you this….

    • @Wayloz
      @Wayloz  6 місяців тому +1

      Your body in this game is trained through torture essentially, in order to take more hits before dropping, you increase the stats I mentioned, that increase your minimum KO points.
      In order to start winning fights you must partially survive multiple and either run or get dropped and have a friendly get you. Through multiple attempts you’ll be able to hit im slightly more often. Increasing your dexterity per hit landed, toughness per hit taken, sword skill per swing contact, etc.
      Then your character is getting good at getting hit and hitting, then he’ll be better at blocking cus his attacks are faster and he’s ready recovered to block. If you don’t want to train via combat you can use dummies to get skills off the ground. The hard part is staying alive through this. Whenever going into a new fight please fully recover prior by bandaging and SLEEPING. Improving survivability alongside removing debuffs from stats.
