If you will find a block of styrofoam and stick a few toothpicks in the styrofom, it will serve as a place to put your beads while you paint them and give them a place to dry.

I've seen that done before and helps many bead makers, but I don't know if it will help her? The holes in her beads are larger than the thickness of a toothpick so the bead would slide to the bottom and sit on the styrofoam. I'm afraid once it dries, it would be stuck to it? If there's a way to make it work, I'd love to know as I want to make some myself. Any tips are appreciated. 🤩

@@brandasuther1156 You can cover the styrofoam with plastic or use a piece of acetate so the bead won't stick. I don''t think the hole size matters much really, the toothpick holds it up. It is worth a try, and adapting it to what works for you.

Haven’t read all of the comments, but if you are needing a lot of beads to match, try using plain paper (same weight ) and just using the pattern on the last few inches as that is all that will be seen.

I get glitter nail polish from the dollar tree and use that to harded my paper beads, I also use tooth picks to hold the bead while I coat it... It might take a couple tooth picks depending on the size of the hole in the bead...I got a small styrofoam cooler from dollar tree and used the lid to poke the tooth picks in while they dry. They always come out fabulous especially if you like sparkle ✨

Haven’t done this for many, many years and always loved the look! When I was a child we used to bend the wire for dying Easter eggs and string the beads on to it to add shine and sometimes glitter. Then it could hang on a wooden spoon handle while drying. They were magical!

Hello Ingrid! This was a fun video. I like too that you didn’t make a thousand beads, just a small amount. So many videos they make tons and it is so overwhelming. With all their supplies and things I feel like nothing I have is as good as what they have so I tend to just not do it. This is more my style. I love the sound the beads made on the table. Kinda soothing. Enjoyed the video! Thanks my dear.

Before you pull the cloth or ribbon through the bead with needle and thread, cut the ends on a slant so it won't be so bulky as you pull it through. When I do things like that, I really try to make cut the end as narrow as possible.

I would like to start out by saying that number one I love your soft sweet voice! And number two, I love your content! And please don’t take this the wrong way but number three I cannot stand the music that plays and then gets stopped so you can talk and then it plays, and then it gets stopped. Some people like that music playing while you are creating, but some really don’t! I find myself muting your whole video so I can watch your content. And that makes me miss out on hearing your sweet voice! Please consider not playing the music on every video that you record for those of us who would love to hear you talk, but just really don’t like that listening to the distracting music while watching you create. Many blessings!
