I’ve been making those same cookies since Home Economics class in the 70’s. I roll them in powdered sugar while they’re still fairly warm and it pretty much melts into the cookie. Then when they’re cooler I roll them again and that gives you a pretty outside coating.

Great finds. I used to bake those cookies all of the time. They were my husband and my boys absolute favorite cookies. I am going to make a couple of batches of them this weekend with my grandson. Thanks for reminding me about the cookies and for sharing your haul.

Those two platters are Hazel Scion. They are the dishes my grandmother had. I have searched for them and collected quite a few. I’m trying to make a complete set (3) for my daughter, DiL and granddaughter as well as myself. I just love them. You have an awesome find there! I just love your videos!
